If a referee was so minded they could close their eyes whenever Chelsea have a corner and bolw the whistle for a penalty simply because Carvalho would almost certainly be fouling someone. They don't even need to see it.

A couple of years back, Carvalho imo was the best centrehalf in England and Chelsea relied more on him than 'JT'. He's had injury problems since then and thats why many dont think he's the best around but yeah, i think he is.

I don't know who is the outright best, I don't think there is one. I think the fact Carvahlo gets away with murder enhances his reputation. His flaws aren't exposed in the ways Ferdinand's can be for example. I like Hangeland.
