Gunga Din Posted December 17, 2009 Posted December 17, 2009 i'm actually quite worried about this game. if we play as bad as we did last night, i think there is a real chance we could lose this
anny road Posted December 17, 2009 Posted December 17, 2009 i'm actually quite worried about this game. if we play as bad as we did last night, i think there is a real chance we could lose this good god Wayne, you worrying about a match....most unlike you these days ;-)
Coyler Posted December 17, 2009 Posted December 17, 2009 Portsmouth are likely to play as bad as Wigan though, so we might have a similar bit of leeway. Not edifying thinking like that, but we are where we, &c.
Gunga Din Posted December 17, 2009 Posted December 17, 2009 good god Wayne, you worrying about a match....most unlike you these days ;-) well, i could just take the malcolm x approach and just pretend we are playing like the 1970 Brazil team
CarraLegend Posted December 17, 2009 Posted December 17, 2009 We cant possibly win this match. Pompey to good.
Bigal Posted December 17, 2009 Posted December 17, 2009 I am going, its going to be cold. Cold and s***
Red Kent Posted December 17, 2009 Posted December 17, 2009 i'm actually quite worried about this game. if we play as bad as we did last night, i think there is a real chance we could lose this But Wayne mate, the Wigan game was a massive moral boosting victory, there is only one way to go now. We are a team brimming with confidence following a great performance and win against Wigan, whilst Pompey are fighting for their lives and got a better result at Stamford Bridge than us. 59-0 to us easily with Kuyt scoring all of them.
Guy_Incognito Posted December 17, 2009 Posted December 17, 2009 Can I just say that I love references to the poster Malcolm X. For a split second, every time it happens, I forget that he's a poster and think they're talking about the actual Malcolm X. Well, it brightens my day up anyway.
Cobs Posted December 17, 2009 Posted December 17, 2009 Pompey are bottom of the league, if you can't even be a touch confident of beating them it's because you're a miserable twonk or on the wind-up

Gunga Din Posted December 17, 2009 Posted December 17, 2009 every game is worried for me would you stick money on us winning at the weekend?
Jarg Armani Posted December 17, 2009 Posted December 17, 2009 Chelsea struggled to get the 3 points at home to them last night. Fratton Park is a tricky place to go, not always our happiest stamping ground. (excuses in early.)

(excuses in early.)I've watched a lot of Portsmouth this season and they've been playing well within themselves the first 15 games. They're no mugs.

NB there was a massive celebration in the Upper Cent by the Control Room by one fan who looked like he was part of the Care in the Community scheme.
Swipe Posted December 17, 2009 Posted December 17, 2009 Blackburn or Sunderland for me. Both far worse than last night. Along with second half on Sunday.

Bigal Posted December 17, 2009 Posted December 17, 2009 Both far worse than last night. Along with second half on Sunday. maybe even fiorentina away
anny road Posted December 17, 2009 Posted December 17, 2009 (edited) Both far worse than last night. Along with second half on Sunday. We created one chance all game at Blackburn and had really no spells of pressure At least last night we created four or five chances and forced the keeper into making saves It was poor last night in parts but the start of the game (first 25) and 15 mins in the second half was all Liverpool....we didnt do that at all at Ewood Edited December 17, 2009 by anny road
