To be fair, this is an Arsenal team that at home only beat Stoke 1-0. They're 70% of the team they were with RvP*

We usually outclass these at Anfield in the league, the only time we havent completely dominated was the 1-1 where we had a Torres who could barely walk let alone run and Dirk and Voro out wide! Whatever it is we usually have a good plan to beat these, the 4-4 was just a freak.

 

They cant defend for s****, the only problem is neither can we! But hopefully us having Torres and them not having Van Persie makes the difference.

If we get Torres, Gerrard, Benayoun, Mascherano and Johnson out on the field and they perform then we can put them away. We'll have a few scares given our back line but if our midfield of Masch and Lucas put in a shift and the creative lads in GJ, YB, SG and Tog are bouncing off one another well then we will give them plenty to worry about.

Indeed, then Matthew Syed in The Times will right a piece about the barbarians in the North, the cold and grim industrial landscapes and Wenger being a visionary. He willl ignore the game, the goals we score and pleasd to the authorities to outlaw contact of all kinds.

I'm sure Aurelio will get the nod for this one.

 

Torres looked ready to bite some heads off last night, I'm certain he'll make something happen.

 

The weird thing about last season's game was that the players who let us down were our steadier ones, Agger, Masch, Arbeloa. Cut out the madness and don't spend the 90 trying to smash them to pieces and we'll have enough. Not that we're playing like that currently anyway.
