Andy @ Allerton Posted December 8, 2009 Posted December 8, 2009 Had the radio on a few stations this morning as I drove in and Manchester United have been reported for this (nothing) game at Wolfsburg tonight as having 'An Injury Nightmare' - all the stations seemed to be going over the top on how unlucky Manchester United have been - and how all these injuries will affect them and blah blah blah. Seems a bit of a contrast to the way they didn't notice Liverpool had any injuries and blah blah blah. The whole slant of everything reported unfortunately carries a lot of weight with those that don't really keep a close watch on things. Something stated by different sources suddenly becomes 'fact'. This Collymore thing for Gerrard and the title now is being reported as original work from other papers according to the radio (As they mentioned it) - so before you know it the 'fact' will be that Gerrard is leaving and so on and so on..
Spion kop Posted December 8, 2009 Posted December 8, 2009 i reckon the lizzard people are at the heart of this.

Mono Posted December 12, 2009 Posted December 12, 2009 Can I just ask you wise old heads for clarification... Are not all frees from your own half indirect? Or is that just a rule from when we played with jumpers for goalposts
