Morse Posted December 5, 2009 Posted December 5, 2009 Liverpool * 25 Reina * 02 Johnson * 05 Agger * 22 Insua * 23 Carragher * 08 Gerrard * 11 Riera (Ngog 52) * 15 Benayoun (El Zhar 72) * 20 Mascherano * 21 Lucas * 18 Kuyt 1.2.3. Thanks.
Leo No.8 Posted December 5, 2009 Posted December 5, 2009 (edited) 1. Johnson (not for the first time this season our biggest attacking threat from full back, competent defensively) 2. Agger (some good work defensively, and at least tried to carry the ball out and make things happen) 3. Mascherano (worked very hard as ever, which was enough to get into the top three in a very average team performance) Edited December 5, 2009 by Leo No.8
Jarg Armani Posted December 5, 2009 Posted December 5, 2009 1. Johnson (not for the first time this season our biggest attacking threat from full back, competent defensively) 2. Mascherano (worked very hard as ever, which was enough to get into the top three in a very average team performance) Same 3, but I had Agger Johnson Masch From early on i thought Johnson was doing well but it should have been plan A for him to bomb on. Masch covered really well when he did and got caught out of position, so why not just keep doing it. Infuriating that he can torment teams so much and yet his forays are limited to a couple in each half. Agger is superb. Another clean sheet the only positive, they never got anywhere near today and it's a tough examination playing an Allardyce team.
Andy @ Allerton Posted December 5, 2009 Posted December 5, 2009 You are kidding ? Whine whine f***ing whine kev. For f***s sake. If you don't like it..
Andy @ Allerton Posted December 5, 2009 Posted December 5, 2009 1. Mascherano - annoyed the s*** out of them. Did some good stuff2. Johnson - improving3. Agger. I like him Most players did OK today - just one of those days where we needed a bit of creativity - but another clean sheet and building a run of not getting beat. Takes time. Frustrating a bit - but unlike some - hey. We haven't got a God given right to win every game. Sorry but that's life folks.

digs_nz Posted December 6, 2009 Posted December 6, 2009 I thought Stevie played really well at times, and his periods of good play coincided with times when we looked most dangerous MaschGerrardJohnson I think it should be mentioned that I thought the Ngog sub was effective at improving our attacking quality.
