I won two tickets for an executive box day out (meal. match and post game drink in the players lounge) at Charlton Athletic on Boxing Day (I think it's againt Swindon). I didn't want them, so offered them up for auction.

Some balloon paid £300 for them :o

(All proceeds to the school)

Charlton's soúnd mate, great laughs there. Haven't been in a while, mind, and certainly not in the Executive boxes.

Would've thought they'll be giving them away these days.

I've been to the Exec boxes there a few times. A couple of conferences and twice to see them when they were in the Premiership. The boxes and conference facilities are very good there, but I wouldn't want to spend a Boxing Day afternoon there.

I think someone at the school my daughter goes to has a box there (or his company does) he probably didn't fancy going there either, so gave it away.

The bloke who bought the 'package' really is a bell and probably paid for the tickets because he could afford to and so everyone would say 'aren't you generous to the school?'. Either way I'm not going, which is fine by me !
