It will be interesting to see whether this was really down to football reasons, or whether their spending has been capped by the Glazers.

 

I thought these two were supposed to be ace, or so a variety of Utd fans told me.

They're stuck with Tosic, which is an odd one, as he seems to be good enough to get into Serbia's national team, but not ahead of Nani

Ferguson not doing tomorrows press conference now either.

 

I wonder if it was his decision or if it was made for him. He's persisted with Nani for years and he's dogs*** so seems strange/unfair to jib this guy off after a few training sessions.

The quote is definitely a strange one. His development? He's stuck in the Serbian league where the only game worthwhile is Partizan v Red Star both of whom are garbage in a league of even bigger garbage and attendances like a local park. How can he develop?

 

Maybe theyve seen that Tosic cant even get a start for the carling cup team and have thought f*** this!

It's a weird one, Ljajic was something like £11m out of the £15m, it may be a case of the well being dry, it could just be a case of them needing the money for a big signing or maybe they've another young kid lined up. I don't think any of the kids they've had emerge over the last year or two plays in the same position or manner as this guy.
