I can't stand a bad loser, and he is the worst loser in football as proven again last night.

I actually quite like Arsenal as a club, but can't stand Wenger - he really is like a big kid. His behaviour last night was far from the first time he's carried on after losing, I'd find it embarrassing if I was an Arsenal fan.

All the not seeing decisions in his favour and making a big deal out of those that go against him, it always being someone else's fault but his and getting a titty lip on when they lose and refusing to shake the other manager's hand.

He is one of the biggest pr*cks in football.

In his bio Gerrard makes it a point to highlight how Arsenal (basically Wenger and some of his top players at the time such as Ljundberg) were the biggest hypocrites and worst losers around.

He's worse than the cheats and thugs for me. Sport is all about doing whatever you can to be the best within the laws of the game, or at least within the referee's interpretation of the game, and at the same time respecting your opponents and team mates, and their attempts to do the same.

No matter what happens on or off the pitch, when the whistle goes, you end the war, shake hands, respect your opponent whether you like them or not, and move on to the next battle. Failure to do that makes you a t***, deserving of absolutely zero respect for any achievments in my opinion. No time for the small time prick, with a chip the size of France on his shoulder.

A couple of years ago when we beat Arsenal in a round of the Youth Cup, even those kids were petulant as f*ck.

It is synonymous with his teams, and as pointed out in bio, his teams do border on that type off arrogance that borders on deserving a fvckin smack, ala Fabregas

But he annoyed Mark Hughes. Surely that's got to be worth something?

Don't think he annoyed him at all, amused him more like, and gave him the moral high ground, which is even worse.

Wenger was an embarrasment last night. Churlish behaviour to an opposition manager

He even had a go at Hughes when he walked out of his technical area into Wengers to give the ball back to his own player

Honestly, I dislike Ferguson less.

He might be a massive c*nt, but he is what he is. At least he can accept when his team has played poorly or been bettered, which he has done on several occasions against us.

I don't think I've ever once in his many years in English football heard Wenger say his team weren't good enough, give credit to the other side or accept any kind of blame himself for defeat.

He really is the most deluded, egotistical prat in the game.

Wenger insists Liverpool's presence against AC Milan in Istanbul confirms the tournament is no longer the true measure of Europe's best teams.

"The European Cup is now a complete cup competition - like Millwall reaching the FA Cup final."

I do hate him, but just hate the Tramp more. It is a bit like Sophie's Choice though

I've tried to like him in the past, but I think I'm going to stop now.

All of his erudite, suave sophistication goes out the window when he loses a game. It's totally pathetic, and he's becoming an embarassment to Arsenal,in my opinion.

I think he's slowly losing his grip, there's been a number of media outbursts recently, and I think if he doesn't win anything this season the pressure might get too much.

And Ferguson only "likes" him because he doesn't see him as a threat. If Arsenal suddenly picked up and started competing, stand back and watch.

Don't hold your breath though.

Come on now.

Honestly - he's a c*nt alright, but a c*nt I have a certain level of grudging respect for and who has shown a certain level of respect for Liverpool Football Club in the past before.

I can't find any respect for Wenger at all with the way he behaves.

Media darling though isnt he. Plays the game how it should be done doesn't he. Even Ferguson likes him now.

Thats because Ferguson does not view Arsenal as a short term threat. He is always nice towards teams and managers who dont threaten him.

More and more, I'm siding with Leo on this.

With Ferguson, you know what you are going to get and how you are going to get it - it's not dressed up.

With Wenger, this facade he's built around sophistication and being erudite is just a sham. He's a shallow man and extremely bitter. Petty sniping and acting like child do not do his first 5 years or so at Arsenal due justice but that is what he is going to remembered for. As for the behaviour of his team and that petulant captain, it all eminates from him.

But Hughes is a bad winner - that's just as bad in my book. His antics & histrionics in the technical area during the match were intended to wind up Wenger.

I utterly despise Wenger but no way is he worse than Ferguson.

Ferguson is guilty of pretty much everything Wenger is (I can't actually remember him refusing to shake a hand but he has certainly bitched and sniped often enough in defeat) and plenty more besides. Both are capable of laughably childish petulance but with Ferguson there is the added element in some of his antics of a calculated nastiness designed to bully and intimidate.

Two deeply unpleasant men. Maybe that is part of why they've been successul - it almost certainly is, especially in Ferguson's case - but it isn't the only way to do it. For someone who would claim to be horrified by 'winning ugly' on the pitch and regards such triumphs as somehow morally inferior, Wenger seems to have no problem being uttery objectionable off it,

I know. I was being ironic.
