ynwa.tv Posted December 3, 2009 Posted December 3, 2009 Down Memory Lane Meet the Referee Double Agents
CarraLegend Posted December 3, 2009 Posted December 3, 2009 Was delighted Torres is supposedly close but Atkinson is the one who lets defenders elbow and kick him all over without us even getting a free kick.
Dan Posted December 3, 2009 Posted December 3, 2009 In a bit of form at the moment Blackburn won't be easy this. Hopefully last night will have taken its toll.
mathewbet1 Posted December 3, 2009 Posted December 3, 2009 We need a win to prove we can put a run together, best team possible.
Red Posted December 3, 2009 Posted December 3, 2009 Hard to know who's un-fit, half-fit, fully-fit, or match-fit these days.
David Hodgson Posted December 3, 2009 Posted December 3, 2009 Hard to know who's un-fit, half-fit, fully-fit, or match-fit these days. I can confirm Aquilani won't start because he's not match fit because he's never started.
Rory Fitzgerald Posted December 3, 2009 Posted December 3, 2009 Hard to know who's un-fit, half-fit, fully-fit, or match-fit these days. and those that are never fit
anfield11 Posted December 3, 2009 Posted December 3, 2009 and those that are never fit Two things I can't stand. A long sleeved shirt under a short one and gloves. Oh, make that three.....him.
Duggers Posted December 3, 2009 Posted December 3, 2009 Be nice to keep this little run going into the Xmas period. Win all those games and we could be right in the mix again, at least for 2nd. Depending on fitness, I think we'll see this side: Reina Johnson Carra Agger Aurelio Benayoun Lucas Masch Riera Gerrard Kuyt
mcdonaldtaf Posted December 3, 2009 Posted December 3, 2009 Every game now running up to and through Xmas is a must win. If some are injured then everyone else needs to give make up any quality shortfall with heart. I expect a win, probably hard fought, but a win. Hopefully the land will lie a bit better in the new year! YNWA

Depending on fitness, I think we'll see this side: Reina Johnson Carra Agger Aurelio Benayoun Lucas Masch Riera Gerrard Kuyt that would definitly be the best team to start with, however rafa will probably play: Reina Johnson Carra Agger Insua Kuyt Lucas Masch Benayoun Gerrard Ngog I hope he plays your formation though.
Benzo-13 Posted December 3, 2009 Posted December 3, 2009 Was delighted Torres is supposedly close but Atkinson is the one who lets defenders elbow and kick him all over without us even getting a free kick.Bloody hell.. Between him and Dowd, I dunno who's more inept..
CarraLegend Posted December 3, 2009 Posted December 3, 2009 (edited) I think Atkinson genuinely dislikes us. Torres got absolutely battered at Reading by Bikey and Duberry yet nothing was done, Atkinson was the ref there and it was similar recently when he had that facial injury against Villa so Habib Beye elbowed him 3 times and we didnt even get free kicks on two of em! Dowd is a c*** aswell, I dread clicking the meet the ref and seeing either of those two. Wiley seems the best and the rest seem much of a muchness in they're all just crap and you just hope you benefit from any ineptitude. Edited December 3, 2009 by CarraLegend
betterman Posted December 3, 2009 Posted December 3, 2009 Let's worry about the ref if and when we need to. We should win this one and win it well. I think we will.
CarraLegend Posted December 3, 2009 Posted December 3, 2009 Let's worry about the ref if and when we need to. Its just a comment on an internet forum, im not on anti depressants because of it.
betterman Posted December 4, 2009 Posted December 4, 2009 Its just a comment on an internet forum, im not on anti depressants because of it. I didn't think you were. I'm just trying to be positive here and all the comments about the ref combined (my reply wasn't aimed just at you) kind of smacked like excuses in advance. Even if they weren't. Like reading comments after another s**** result rather than looking forward to another positive result.

Widnesian Posted December 4, 2009 Posted December 4, 2009 Aquilani to start this one I hope. Torres hopefully fit, this is our best team imo. PepeJohnson, Carra, Agger, AurelioKuyt Aquilani Masch, BennyGerrard, Torres
Stevie H Posted December 4, 2009 Posted December 4, 2009 mascherano wants to give dunn a boot up the a*** early on, he's the player makes them tick. samba's a threat from deadballs, as is nelsen, but we should be able to have too much for them on the deck. hopefully their confidence is a bit over-high after knocking chelsea out.

Is Dunn fit again?
Stevie H Posted December 4, 2009 Posted December 4, 2009 not sure as it goes. physioroom has him down as 'very doubtful' for what that's worth.
psl Posted December 4, 2009 Posted December 4, 2009 not sure as it goes. physioroom has him down as 'very doubtful' for what that's worth. He went off last week and missed the Chelsea game. Would be good news for us if not because, as you say, he's their best player.
