baz2107 Posted December 2, 2009 Posted December 2, 2009 Looking for some help, basically I run a sunday morning side and we recently had a game with a poor referee, we'd had a bad morning with players not turning up etc, and then the ref was just shocking, I did our match report on the club website and said a few things about our side and concluded with no matter how bad we were we were nowhere near as crap as the refs standard of sh!tiness I then 2 weeks later got a letter from the FA as secretary of the club with a charge of disrepute and 3 options 1) pay £8 and pay whatever charge they give me 2) pay £8 with a plea for leniency 3) pay £50 and appeal I did the plea for leniency removed the comment from the club website and apologised and put it down to frustration and ensured it wouldn't happen again, I today got a fine of £50 from the local FA to be paid within 2 weeks I'm going to appeal this as the fine is more than threatening or abusing a referee on a pitch, violent conduct or serious foul play, my appeal has to go to the main FA HQ in London, so I was just looking for any examples that people have of Premiership managers bringing game into disrepute and getting away with it cheers for any help that can be provided
Benzo-13 Posted December 2, 2009 Posted December 2, 2009 Slur and Querioz once called the ref a "robber" and sort of got nothing as punishment.

ManxRed Posted December 3, 2009 Posted December 3, 2009 Make noises that you are thinking of withdrawing your players from the England squad when the next set of international fixtures comes up. Works every time.
