Gunga Din Posted November 25, 2009 Posted November 25, 2009 lets boycott it. perfect match. a nothing game, live on telly, a big protest about the owners and a walk out
Knox_Harrington Posted November 25, 2009 Posted November 25, 2009 f*** off. I intend to make my Liverpool debut.
johngibo YPC Posted November 25, 2009 Posted November 25, 2009 Danger of getting twisted by the media?
Sion Posted November 25, 2009 Posted November 25, 2009 it would be perfect. less possibility of daytrippers gobbling up the tickets as well seeing as it'll be priority.

Sion Posted November 25, 2009 Posted November 25, 2009 I actually don't know if a boycott would work. Could easily look like we've just not sold out. Needs to be some sort of in-game action.

I'm thinking something like the arsenal/JFT96 chanting, but directed at G&H. Maybe a mass walk out after 60 minutes might be more realistic.
Cam Posted November 25, 2009 Posted November 25, 2009 Good idea. I'm not overly enthused with the prospect of going. Can you opt out of the Auto Ticket scheme for a match? More importantly... does the scheme roll over for the Europa League? I'm not sure about that yet.

I'll be going and I'll be off to the KC afterwards. No Karaoke though. Not on a schoolday.
MFletcher Posted November 25, 2009 Posted November 25, 2009 Top idea wayne. The game is a complete dead rubber. It's the perfect opportunity to hit back without affecting the team. Time is short though, so I think SOS would have to get onto things quite swiftly.

Have you noticed we haven't been playing too well lately and have a few problems? A load of fans walking out isn't really going to help anyones confidence and if it did happen there is no way on Earth that the media won't turn it into "Liverpool fans storm out of Anfield wanting the Manager Sacked by the morning, all the players sold and the ground melted down". They'll have a field year.

They have no evidence that the average Liverpool fan is falling for it. To their annoyance, despite the shocking run of results it annoys them that Liverpool fans, annoyingly, seem to be still behind the manager. They can't believe it, basically. If everyone walked out or didn't go - then there's the cast-iron proof they've been waiting for and once they get 'that' - you'll never hear the end of witless idiots blathering on for the rest of the season/next ten years. Liverpool fans will be portrayed as fickle and Rafa will get even more pressure to walk.
domlfc Posted November 25, 2009 Posted November 25, 2009 I understand what your saying though if enough was made of it by SOS then it has to be a great oppurtunity to show the world what we think of these b******s.
Jacks Jackie Jackson Posted November 25, 2009 Posted November 25, 2009 What about leaving en-masse at half time? I'd certainly be up for that. Can't be arsed with it now anyway and it would make a massive point. Even if we just got one huge section to leave, the gap would be telling.
Red Kent Posted November 25, 2009 Posted November 25, 2009 I think some kind of visible protest would be ideal.

Reggie Posted November 26, 2009 Posted November 26, 2009 Why would G&H give a f*** if you left at half time? They already have your money. A chant similar to the JFT96 against the a*** would be more effective and less childish.

I disagree, to see thousands walking out of the ground on live tv all around the world would have a lot more impact than chanting.
