Sir Tokyo Sexwale Posted November 12, 2009 Posted November 12, 2009 The Tottenham goalkeeper Carlo Cudicini is in hospital with "possibly life-changing" injuries after crashing his BMW motorbike today. The 36-year-old hit a Ford Fiesta at around 10.30am on Forest Road, Walthamstow, east London and is being treated for fractured wrists and an injured pelvis. A Metropolitan Police spokesman said: "London Ambulance Service, Hems [helicopter emergency medical service] and police attended and discovered the 36-year-old male motorcyclist suffering from injuries described by LAS as possibly life-changing. "He has been taken to an east London hospital for further assessment and treatment." The woman driver of the car and a child who was in the car with her did not need hospital treatment. Roads were closed in the area after the incident, which is being investigated by the Chadwell Heath collision investigation unit. No arrests have been made. A statement on the club's website said: "Carlo Cudicini has fractured his wrists and injured his pelvis after being involved in a road accident this morning. "The 36-year-old Italian goalkeeper has been admitted to hospital and undergone scans under the supervision of club medical staff. "The club will update supporters on Carlo as soon as there is any further information."
Bogman Posted November 12, 2009 Posted November 12, 2009 Yeah, sounds like his career is over. Atleast no fatalities.
Murphman Posted November 12, 2009 Posted November 12, 2009 Why people ride bikes in November is a mystery to me, mine is tucked up in mothballs until the Spring. Hope he's OK, bet it's the bird's fault.
johngibo YPC Posted November 12, 2009 Posted November 12, 2009 Why people ride bikes in November is a mystery to me, mine is tucked up in mothballs until the Spring. I drive my scooter all year unless its icy. You can have a crash anytime. In fact i feel more visible in the dark with my lights on alot of the timeI am suprised that professional footballers are allowed to drive motorbikes though. I'd have a heart attack if i saw Torres on one

Sion Posted November 12, 2009 Posted November 12, 2009 I can just imagine Harry saying something like 'boys will be boys'Ridiculous that he was allowed to do this.
floyd Posted November 12, 2009 Posted November 12, 2009 Fvckin "Arry will be eyeing up a new orangery, due to his new goalkeeper in January. Loves a deal does "Arry and Willie McKay
Benzo-13 Posted November 12, 2009 Posted November 12, 2009 He's an idiot for going on that with the nature of his job.

Falconhoof Posted November 12, 2009 Posted November 12, 2009 Opens up a swoop for James. Loves a goalkeeper does Harry. Harry's always said that Jamo is the best in the business and he'd love a triffic keeper like that but he's got too much respect for Portsmouth to talk about that.

With regards lights, mine are on automatically, you can't turn them off. But apart from that, it's soooo f*cking cold, why not get on the bus? Edited November 13, 2009 by Murphman

Yep, the roads are slippy and yes you s*** your pants, but cold? Nah mate. Wear the gear and its lovely and warm. I am still riding mine. As for the wrist break, if they are anything like mine it will be 2 years before they are strong enough to stop a Gerrard shot ( If he ever could) so I would say its job is a gonner.
