Bo Benn Posted November 12, 2009 Posted November 12, 2009 http://www.liverpoolfc.tv/news/drilldown/N...091112-1312.htm To summarize; Benayoun and Riera out 3-4 weeksAgger had something creeping up his back again but should be fine - Just hope he can skip the Denmark gameJohnson also having some hamstring problems, should be OK for next week, but just as in the Agger case I hope he gives the England game a passTorres out for 2-3 weeksGerrard is pretty much A-OKNo word on Fabio, assuming he'll be back for our next game. Would be a comfort having him back in the team. Now then, who plays on the left mid position for our next few games? Probably Babel I'd say. With Torres out, should we play 442? I like to think so, no one in our current squad can play the Torres role except for Fernando himself. N'Gog and Kuyt upfront?

ManxRed Posted November 12, 2009 Posted November 12, 2009 Great. I guess Aurelio COULD play the left mid, I'm getting fed up with Babel. Doubtless we'll see Voronin upfront instead of Kuyt, who will stay right?

Bo Benn Posted November 12, 2009 Author Posted November 12, 2009 Good (re Agger and Johnson) As Rafa says this is actually the best timed international break we've had in years. Much, much, much rather see Babel on pitch than Voronin. Regardless of position. With Babel you tend to get a good performance now and then. No so with Voronin imo. Could this be the time to try Johnson at right mid? If Kuyt plays upfront that is.
Frosty Jack Posted November 12, 2009 Posted November 12, 2009 Is it safe to point any fingers at the medical team yet or is this all just a bunch of rotten luck and coincidence?

Sir Tokyo Sexwale Posted November 12, 2009 Posted November 12, 2009 may as well start bring boots to our games now

Cam Posted November 12, 2009 Posted November 12, 2009 I'd be content with Aurelio at left midfield. In fact I'd prefer Dossena there to Babel.
