Andy @ Allerton Posted November 8, 2009 Posted November 8, 2009 We all moaned about the number of draws in the league last season - which was, it must be said, pretty s****. But this season we haven't had one! Yeah!!
_00_deathscar Posted November 8, 2009 Posted November 8, 2009 That's it - I'm off to put my life savings on a draw.
IcelandicFan Posted November 8, 2009 Posted November 8, 2009 Mockety mock, mock, mock, mock 100% draw on mondy night now, thanks to you.
SteveT Posted November 8, 2009 Posted November 8, 2009 Mockety mock, mock, mock, mock 100% draw on mondy night now, thanks to you. And Voronin to score....! !
Gunga Din Posted November 8, 2009 Posted November 8, 2009 i know, great isnt it. i've walked away from watching us get beat a few times this season and thought "thank f*** it wasnt a draw"
stressederic Posted November 8, 2009 Posted November 8, 2009 i know, great isnt it. i've walked away from watching us get beat a few times this season and thought "thank f*** it wasnt a draw" Can you imagine how bad your day would have been if that Fulham game, for example, had ended up a draw. Or the Sunderland match? Doesn't bear thinking about.
Hightown Phil Posted November 8, 2009 Posted November 8, 2009 i know, great isnt it. i've walked away from watching us get beat a few times this season and thought "thank f*** it wasnt a draw" But last season, people were saying they'd sacrifice some draws for defeats. Funny old game.
Mike Posted November 8, 2009 Posted November 8, 2009 But last season, people were saying they'd sacrifice some draws for defeats. Funny old game. no they weren't.
Mike Posted November 8, 2009 Posted November 8, 2009 i know, great isnt it. i've walked away from watching us get beat a few times this season and thought "thank f*** it wasnt a draw" no, its ACE that we've been utter s**** in games that we got beat in.because that equates to drawing games we should have won last season wayne, you just don't get it.
Hightown Phil Posted November 8, 2009 Posted November 8, 2009 no they weren't. Oh they were. 'I wouldn't mind losing some games if some of the draws got turned in to wins' was quite a common thing to be said over the summer.
Rory Fitzgerald Posted November 8, 2009 Posted November 8, 2009 I dont mind losing 2-1 away from home instead of getting a 0-0 if it means we get an away goal.
melia Posted November 9, 2009 Posted November 9, 2009 I dont mind losing 2-1 away from home instead of getting a 0-0 if it means we get an away goal.I'm assuming you mean in home and away cup comps. So, if we draw 0-0 at home, your preference puts us out, the draw puts us through.if we win 1-0 at home, we've won either way.if we win 2-1 at home, your preference gives extra time, the draw puts us through.if we win 3-2 at home, your preference knocks us out, the draw puts us throughetc. You've not really thought this through, have you?

Mike Posted November 9, 2009 Posted November 9, 2009 Oh they were. 'I wouldn't mind losing some games if some of the draws got turned in to wins' was quite a common thing to be said over the summer. and that's totally different to what you said, obviously.
