CarraLegend Posted October 29, 2009 Posted October 29, 2009 fulham are expected to have etuhu and johnson back available but spud murphy's set to miss out. Thats great news all round.
Swipe Posted October 29, 2009 Posted October 29, 2009 What about Gerrard? I've kinda just assumed he'll be okay for this match..
matlfc Posted October 29, 2009 Posted October 29, 2009 What about Gerrard? I've kinda just assumed he'll be okay for this match.. Heard he may miss it as not recovered as quickly as first thought.
Dan Posted October 29, 2009 Posted October 29, 2009 Heard he may miss it as not recovered as quickly as first thought. What a t*t for trying to be the hero with Capello
Kahnee Posted October 29, 2009 Posted October 29, 2009 I'm convinced Finnan scored against Man U at Old Trafford
Coyler Posted October 29, 2009 Posted October 29, 2009 He challenged O'Shea at the back post and it went down as an own goal, no?
Kahnee Posted October 29, 2009 Posted October 29, 2009 He challenged O'Shea at the back post and it went down as an own goal, no? Ahh, that explains it. Soccerbase would seem to agree with you, even if our own official site doesn't
David Hodgson Posted October 29, 2009 Posted October 29, 2009 What a t*t for trying to be the hero with Capello Jesus, you don't know the facts here. A bit of respect wouldn't go amiss.
Dan Posted October 29, 2009 Posted October 29, 2009 (edited) Jesus, you don't know the facts here. A bit of respect wouldn't go amiss. Yeh maybe a bit harsh. Wansn't posted in aggression, more a sigh and a shake of the head. The way it was reported suggested this is how it happened though which is irritating. Edited October 29, 2009 by DS77
Rory Fitzgerald Posted October 29, 2009 Posted October 29, 2009 Ahh, that explains it. Soccerbase would seem to agree with you, even if our own official site doesn't Well, according to the official site, Michael Carrick played in that game in 2004 and Roy Keane was booked despite not starting or being on the bench.
David Hodgson Posted October 29, 2009 Posted October 29, 2009 Yeh maybe a bit harsh. Wansn't posted in aggression, more a sigh and a shake of the head. The way it was reported suggested this is how it happened though which is irritating. I know, but I also don't think he'd take a stupid risk to put a nothing England game ahead of LFC. I suspect it was one of those where he he wanted to kid himself (pyschologocally) that he wasn't really injured, and perserved when he shouldn't have. I think he's a 'warrior' of a player and would not want to cry off for a pre-season friendly if he thought he might have a chance of playing.
richwilks Posted October 29, 2009 Posted October 29, 2009 Rumours that Torres might not make it as well. Aquilani should look to step it up a bit Saturday, 20-25 minutes will do him good.
Swagger Posted October 29, 2009 Posted October 29, 2009 Rafa has said that Torres should be OK, but that Gerrard is doubtful. Here
Red Kent Posted October 29, 2009 Posted October 29, 2009 Darby was on the bench on Wednesday as Johnson wasn't fit.
Ethan Posted October 30, 2009 Posted October 30, 2009 Darby was on the bench on Wednesday as Johnson wasn't fit. GloJo travelled though - he was at the emirates
fred Posted October 30, 2009 Posted October 30, 2009 (edited) I'm hearing that Stevie's definitely out for this and Lucas is doubtful, anyone else hear that? EDIT: just noticed the "Stevie needs an op" thread... Edited October 30, 2009 by fred
McBain Posted October 30, 2009 Posted October 30, 2009 Masch and Aqua partnership then. That'll do me
Chili Palmer Posted October 30, 2009 Posted October 30, 2009 pepe GJ Carra Agger Insua Babel Masch Aurelio Yossi Dirk No.9 ps Aquilani man of the match
Flasher Posted October 30, 2009 Posted October 30, 2009 Same players Chili but i'd stick to the 4 2 3 1. Pepe GJ - Carra - Agger - Insua Mascherano - Aurelio Kuyt - Yossi - Babel Torres
Stevie H Posted October 30, 2009 Posted October 30, 2009 if i were roy hodsgon i'd be lobbing etuhu straight back into this one.
CarraLegend Posted October 30, 2009 Posted October 30, 2009 if i were roy hodsgon i'd be lobbing etuhu straight back into this one. Hopefully, he is absolutely horrific.
