f***ing hell!!! a liverpool fan had a go at him for wasting his talent and being an idiot for criticising rafa despite retiring at the age of 30 and collymore went on a rant on how 'some' liverpool fans dare to criticise him despite having the best scoring record of 'any black or mixed race' player in the history of liverpool.

he's got by far and away the best scoring record of any clinically insane player in the history of liverpool too, but you never hear him mentioning that.

just remembered, the idiot was having a go at rafa for having ngog, Voronin and El zhar as covers for torres (combined fees of £1.7m) while at the same time blaming him for wasting money and spending as much as chelsea!

Stan Collymore: Why Steven Gerrard must quit Liverpool FC

 

FORMER Liverpool FC striker Stan Collymore is calling on Steven Gerrard to leave Anfield "in search of the Premier League".

 

Collymore believes the Reds ace will never win the ultimate goal while with Liverpool and he says many players in the current squad are not good enough to play alongside Gerrard.

 

"It's time for Steven Gerrard to put his loyalty to Liverpool to one side and go in search of the one honour that has eluded him - the Premier League," he writes in his latest column for MirrorFootball.co.uk.

 

"He's not going to see that day while he's wearing a red shirt and as sad as it is for me to say this as a former Liverpool player, I think it is time for him to leave Anfield.

 

"I was at Blackburn on Saturday and players like Lucas, Rieira and Kuyt don't deserve to play with him to be honest."

 

Collymore thinks Gerrard has more chance of winning a domestic title with Chelsea, Real Madrid, Barcelona, AC Milan and Inter Milan.

 

He said: "I've seen him lift the European Cup and I'd love to see him lift the Premier League trophy, but it won't be as a Rafa Benitez player and I'm not sure it will ever happen for him as a Liverpool player.

 

"I'm not saying this to try and wind up Liverpool fans. I just think it would be a tragedy if after seeing inferior players to him like Darren Fletcher and Michael Carrick win the title, he didn't.

AC Milan have about as much chance of winning the 1-team-league for the next 5 years as we do the Premier League this season.

as sad as it is for me to say this as a former Liverpool player

 

That for me has to be a combination of the saddest (he played for us) and most hypocritical (he claims to be sad about our plight) lines in any of his pieces.

 

He gets half his copy from kicking Rafa.

What on earth are you on about you oversensitive old man, The trophy cabinet comment was a joke, you remember them yes?

 

Gerrard is a fantastic player if he can drag the players along the likes of Baros, Biscan and Djimi Traore to victory in the champions league he could of easily got chelsea with all their expensive trinkets the same thing.
