Was dead funny when it reached the Flat Iron. A bunch of lads stood outside having a pint watching the comings and goings in the afternoon sunshine, all being well in the world as they quaffed down some cold lagers and chatted about the match and the traffic on the m62, when, as one man they rested their drinking arms for a moment in a gentlemanly manner and placed down their glasses to gamely applaud the gallant phalange of protest as it made its progress past the boozer, clap clap clap they went, clap clap oh...then looked dimly surprised and slightly spoilt by the loud collective encouragement to put down your f*ckin ale and join the f*ckin march f*ckin standin there clappin for f*cks sake we could all be on the f*ckin ale you know f*ckin ell etc etc...
