The Hitman Posted October 26, 2009 Posted October 26, 2009 What a waste of space that player is,a total oxygen-thief!!He's a complete bottle-job,I wonder how long Ferguson will put up with him. Probably a fair while, given how long it took him to figure out Veron wasn't up to it.
CarraLegend Posted October 26, 2009 Posted October 26, 2009 He's one of those players who should regularly be swapping clubs for £10m or so as another manager declares "I'll get the best out of him" His control is incredible but apart from that.... He's a complete coward and in these games they might aswell leave him out and just play ten men. £30m? f***ing hell.
stressederic Posted October 26, 2009 Posted October 26, 2009 £32m for that. £32m. They could have bought Eto'o for that amount of money.
Sion Posted October 26, 2009 Posted October 26, 2009 I've got two words that make Berbatov look like Batistuta Na Ni
stressederic Posted October 26, 2009 Posted October 26, 2009 Berbatov, Nani, Anderson, Hargreaves. That's over £80m worth of "talent" that are either constantly injured or absolutely s***. Yet it's Rafa who supposedly pisses his money up in the air.

Yet it's Rafa who supposedly pisses his money up in the air. Add Valencia who looks no better than Riera but cost more than double... and about £25m they spent on them twins and the serbian ones and that Obertan Edited October 26, 2009 by Sion
MarkD Posted October 26, 2009 Posted October 26, 2009 I agree re; the wasting of the money but whilst they are winning trohpies it does allow them a lot of leeway. The questions should be around the fact they have been totally reliant upon Scholes/Giggs/Neville(to a lesser extent) and Rooney. Thre first three must be in their final year and are waning, the latter looks more frustrated every time I see him. The pressure over the money spent can only validly be made once they are not winning things I think.
Chili Palmer Posted October 26, 2009 Posted October 26, 2009 I actually thought he looked their most dangerous player in the first half, some lovely control and passes. disappeared in the second half tho.
Tones Posted October 26, 2009 Posted October 26, 2009 Would much rather have Tevez than Berbatov. But they didnt think he was worth the £7m less than Berbatov cost.
matty Posted October 26, 2009 Posted October 26, 2009 Utter dross, but he wasn't alone in that yesterday.
smithdown Posted October 26, 2009 Posted October 26, 2009 I actually thought he looked their most dangerous player in the first half, some lovely control and passes. disappeared in the second half tho. Good touches, as usual, but miles from goal
Knox_Harrington Posted October 26, 2009 Posted October 26, 2009 Good touches, as usual, but miles from goalAs much down to the set-up as him though.

Manc fans must be genuinely concerned about their reliance on Giggs and Scholes still.
JGL Posted October 26, 2009 Posted October 26, 2009 The competition for worst striker in the league is starting to become a three-horse-race between The Vog, Bendtner and Berbatov.
Cam Posted October 26, 2009 Posted October 26, 2009 I couldn't believe he often he just passed it out of play... seemingly to an imaginary team-mate on the touchline. Brilliant first touch & holding the ball up but apart from that... not much. At Spurs he seemed a goalscorer but that's gone; he's no goal threat at all.
Barnesy_10 Posted October 26, 2009 Posted October 26, 2009 he was as pissed off with the rest of his team as Rooney was against us at Old Trafford last season.. was hilarious seeing him stamping his feet

Barnesy_10 Posted October 26, 2009 Posted October 26, 2009 Add Lljiac and Tosic to the pile of duds.. Where are they??mate in work who is a Manc bigged up that Ljacic and Obertan today as the second comings..
stressederic Posted October 26, 2009 Posted October 26, 2009 mate in work who is a Manc bigged up that Ljacic and Obertan today as the second comings.. Of who? Djemba Djemba?
Benzo-13 Posted October 26, 2009 Posted October 26, 2009 mate in work who is a Manc bigged up that Ljacic and Obertan today as the second comings..Even Blanc warned them that Obertan is nowhere near ready.
Falconhoof Posted October 26, 2009 Posted October 26, 2009 Beware this. Its a well trodden path slagging off Mancs who turn out to be great players for them. On the day they ship them out for a derisory fee we can laugh but for now, how the hell do we know if Obertan or the Serb lads are going to be the next Ronaldo.
Minder78 Posted October 26, 2009 Posted October 26, 2009 I thought Rooney was as pitiful as Berbatov yesterday, in fairness he was too busy trying to ref the game to play football.
