I do hope that in between showing full commitment to Rafa and making it clear to the owners how desperately they are wanted out of the club, there remains time on Sunday for the Anfield crowd to make it clear to this scum bag that there is not a single shred of affection or support left for him at the club where he made his name. I hope that he receives a reception more hateful than any previously seen at our ground or others. I hope he leaves that pitch knowing that any thing he achieved at our club is forever tainted by his association with our most hated rivals.

 

I'm sure some will say he won't give a f***. And maybe they're right. But I would be very disappointed if he was left in any doubt as to his current standing with our fans. If some of our players want to give him a kick for good measure, all the better.

He's an out and out Mercenary. I don't know if any player in the game has been as motivated by pure pennies as he has so any kind of chant directed at him is pointless, he won't even hear it - unless, perhaps, it contains some information about euro conversion rates or some such?

Why not just remember all the great games he had for us?

I really do not blame him for moving to

- Madrid - new challenge at the biggest club in the world/ from a team that was floundering at the time

- Newcastle - we did not look like we were going to come in for him after all

- the Scum - he was in the wilderness literally, watching his career grind to a halt and gets a call from a perennially successful club.

 

How many of us would not make the same choice at our work places?

Do not talk to me about loyalty to the club - we do not show the same to the players - how long would it take us to throw even Carra under the bus if he was playing crap?

we did, didn't want to pay the 17m, he panicked because of fear of not going to the world cup and moved to newcastle

 

 

I have wiped all the memories from his time playing for us after he joined united, I have never hated a player more than that c***

i agree with the above.. i cant blame the guy for the choices he made, he needed to save his career and wants to play in the world cup....he was offered to us twice and we turned him down...Now yes i hate the guy now for being at the mancs, but would i go out of my way to boo him?!?! nah id spend all my energy on the scum who "apprently" own us...

There are two owens for me...the one who was so fantastic for us and the one who left for Real Madrid..this one is dead...why would i boo a dead person..

I honesty thought the abuse owen got when he first came bk to anfield with newcastle was shocking...........

 

 

It seems popular these days to basically abuse any of our ex players....are we gonna end up hating everyone?!??!
