He must feel like Casillas at Real Madrid, except the attack aren't bailing us out every game.

We're giving absolutely f*** all protection game after game, and yet he's keeping us in game after game and appears to be one of the few players who is actually capable of showing leadership on the pitch.

He deserves better, frankly.

He's been here 5 years, 2 years left on his contract at the end of the season. He's got a big decision to make at the end of May.

I'm afraid this will be his last season.

If he doesn't think we can win the league here, he'll go back to Barca.

where do you think he would go? Barca is the only place, but i liked the way every time he concedes he feels like he has lost the world cup

4 clean sheets, in 13 games and thats against Burnley, Stoke, Leeds and Decreben.. this is very very very worrying, Agger looked solid, but it cant be told the same about the rest

We have to be honest here - Carra's legs have gone. He has practically no pace anymore, and we're all over the shop trying to cover his lack of pace and the gaps our full backs leave when they go forward.

Considering we've often prided ourselves on clean sheets, I don't know what the f*** is going on.

On Carra I feel he's been slightly declining for about 2 years now. I also agree that more attacking full backs like Johnson and Insua are going to expose his lack of pace more and are also likely to put further pressure on the centre backs.

Careful now, you'll be called a Sky Generation fan and be given examples of Sami Hyypia. At least that's what happened when those of us with eyes suggested this earlier this season.

There's no shame in it - he's played like a Trojan for 12/13 years and given everything. He is a legend. But his style is not conducive to a graceful decline in his 30s. It just isn't.

which is half the reason he'll do a Henchoz who played in a similar manner.

Of all the youngsters given a chance recently, Spearing, Kelly and Ayala. Kelly has easily impressed me the most. He was doing very well both defensively and in attack. It's a shame that is one of the few very strong areas we have as I reckon he deserves a run. Also unlucky that the equaliser came when he ricked his knee trying to get across.

We could always play johnson at right midfield with kelly behind him, and kuyt up front with torres

I always try to be optimistic, but we're at the stage now where it's painfully obvious.

I worry that Rafa won't drop him because of the weight he carries at the club - Scouse lad etc., fan favourite etc.

dont try and be optimistic. football is no place for sentiment. the very best managers are ruthless. Paisley was ruthless. Ferguson is ruthless.

we need major surgery in that team. the owners are almost entirely to blame for this mess, but its Rafa unfortunately that will carry the can

He was gutted talking after the game. Distraught.

Sad.
