Loblaw Posted October 20, 2009 Posted October 20, 2009 Barring a miracle, Rafa needs to be on his way at the end of the season. He's failed to find that balance between attack and fdefence, continues to show too much trust in pure average-ness(Carra, Kuyt), his dealings in the last few windows have been nothing short of embarasing. And most of all, those players aren't playing for HIM!! Masche wants away, he forced Xabi and Sami out of the club. He has to go. Sooner the better.

John Nada Posted October 20, 2009 Posted October 20, 2009 He has to go. Sooner the better. f*** off! I haven't felt this low since Celtic knocked us out of the Uefa Cup.

Rubbish: if he leaves the manager who comes in under the current finances and ownership will be a joker. No-one good would take a new job under these circumstances. It'll be sub-O'Neill level. Possibly worse.

HAHAHAHAH Yeah and the new s**** manager (because we couldnt afford a good one) with his zero net spend will guide us to glory.
Andy-oh-six Posted October 20, 2009 Posted October 20, 2009 I hate xabi alonso. We haven't controlled a game against a half decent team since he left. No chance the mancs we are a joke.
Dan Posted October 20, 2009 Posted October 20, 2009 Losing Rafa is unthinkable. Too many short term nobheads spitting their dummies. If he went we'd sink like a stone. A lot faster than we are now. The ramifications would be frightening.
Leo No.8 Posted October 20, 2009 Posted October 20, 2009 In terms of the backup, when key players are out it is an opportunity for those behind them to make their name. We look limp going forward when Gerrard and Torres are out, completely toothless. Benayoun and Kuyt aside, we don't have another decent attacking option in the entire squad. Also Kuyt is more a really good cog in the wheel when we have the other top players in, but he's not going to win the game for you with individual brilliance. He'll link well with others but we didn't get numbers forward at all tonight. People will say 'but he's just a young lad' but I don't think N'Gog will ever be good enough; he's OK but not brilliant at anything, so not good enough to play up front for a team wanting to be one of the best in Europe. Babel has let us down too many times so couldn't be trusted tonight, Voronin is just a f*cking waste of space. Taking Benayoun off for that ponytailed turd tonight was outrageous, an absolutely diabolical decision.
oli-marson Posted October 20, 2009 Posted October 20, 2009 At least martin kelly was quality i dont think we are in a crisis yet, if we lose the next two games, then we are in a crisis.
alias75 Posted October 20, 2009 Posted October 20, 2009 The owners are finding out you can't do things on the cheap in this league and expect to compete. We'v seen teams like Man City, Tottenham even Sunderland massively outspend us while we've gone backwards sooner or later thats going to bite you unless your very lucky with injuries. Any talk about replacing the manager is absurd because the problem is hes working with his hands tied behind his back, the players are low on confidence and we're not getting much luck, add to that injuries to our most important players and you have the situation we're currently in.
BG Posted October 20, 2009 Posted October 20, 2009 The players are low on confidence and we're not getting much luck, add to that injuries to our most important players and you have the situation we're currently in. Agreed.
Flanders Posted October 20, 2009 Posted October 20, 2009 I hate xabi alonso. We haven't controlled a game against a half decent team since he left. No chance the mancs we are a joke. The gamble on Aquilani isn't looking too good. To be in this position before Alonso's replacement has played a match, let alone 'gelled' is worse than anyonecould have predicted. Our squad is thin but it is annoying when people say the team shouldn't be so reliant on two players, most teams in the world would feel lost without those two.
Farmer's Tan Posted October 20, 2009 Posted October 20, 2009 T the players are low on confidence and we're not getting much luck, add to that injuries to our most important players and you have the situation we're currently in. add to that we cant defend for love nor money and there is more creativity in a rusted fart than there is in our midfield
