Tommy Cockles Posted October 14, 2009 Posted October 14, 2009 pretty crucial run of games starting Saturday. Failure to win there would ratchet up the pressure no end, going into a CL game we have to win followed by the visit of the Dark Forces who would then have the opportunity to deliver a hammer blow to our season. More optimistically a win Saturday gives us momentum to get the CL back on track and then have a right go at those c**ts & spark our season properly into life. Going to be tough, they are playing well, their crowd will be well up for it. Hopefully the main men are fit & on their game.
Knox_Harrington Posted October 14, 2009 Posted October 14, 2009 Good, good side; strong spine. We win the game in wide areas.
muleskinner Posted October 14, 2009 Posted October 14, 2009 I'm under a cloud already, think we will draw, win, draw.
anny road Posted October 14, 2009 Posted October 14, 2009 Sunderland: 0-2 (Riera, Yossi)Lyon: 3-0 (Gerrard, Tog, Derek)Man Utd: 2-1 (Tog, Derek) Simples
Case Posted October 14, 2009 Posted October 14, 2009 Midfield might be interesting. Currently, it could be Jay and Aurelio ..... Really hope the Argies make it tonight.

Gunga Din Posted October 14, 2009 Posted October 14, 2009 we need to beat Sunderland and take a minimum of a point against the mancs.

Leo No.8 Posted October 14, 2009 Posted October 14, 2009 (edited) Sunderland is a bloody awkward game. Carragher and Skrtel will have their hands full with Jones and Bent and unless they are much better than they have been for most of this season I can't see us keeping a clean sheet personally. Think we might have to score a few to win that one. Edited October 14, 2009 by Leo No.8

Lambo Posted October 14, 2009 Posted October 14, 2009 I've given up on the league to be honest. I think we're missing something and this could be a season of transition. I'm hoping for a good run in all the cups.

Falconhoof Posted October 14, 2009 Posted October 14, 2009 I'm not able to look beyond Sunderland. Very tricky fixture with important players travelling all over the world and picking up little injuries. If we win that then i'll dare to dream about winning the other 2.

Sunderland away is the toughest game that falls into that category.
Falconhoof Posted October 14, 2009 Posted October 14, 2009 Bruce tends to relish going up against us. Apart from us battering Brum in the FA cup, his sides work hard to beat us.I'm worried about all sorts of players, fatigue/ jet lag for some, poor form for others. I'll be on top of the world if we get the 3.
