Redundancy

We've had the informative chat in here that they are looking at possibly making people redundant. If it does come to this I'm gonna be first out as I was last in and one of the highest paid.

 

Never gone though this before and its horrible, the thought of being out of work just before Christmas is depressing.

 

What sort of compensation do you get these days, I read somewhere on the net that its a maximum of £370 per year you are in employment with the company, that is paid by the government. I'll be screwed if that's all that's coming to me. Is this right? Do you not get any compensation from the company you work for?
