Liverpool's Academy have confirmed the signing of Southend United youngster Michael Ngoo.

The 16-year-old has agreed scholarship terms with the Reds following a successful trial at the club's Kirkby base.

 

Ngoo made a winning start to life with Liverpool after playing 67 minutes of the under-18s' 2-0 victory over Barnsley on Saturday.
