Zürich just scored twice in a few mintues against Real. 3-2 now.

 

Real were under pressure and still had four men standing on the half way line starring at their team mates who were trying to defend. They'll look amazing going forward this season but if teams take the game to them, they'll struggle. No work ethic at all from the front four.

to those who hate Inzaghi, a big fat raspberry.

 

he may not be the most likeable player, but he can score goals in the box. tap ins from 2 inches to 6 yards are his speciality and he seems to have an uncanny knack of just being in the right place.

 

his move ahead of the defender tonight was subtle, but deadly as he just turned the ball past the keeper.

 

1or 2 away from the European goal scoring record, or so I heard.

 

i had the Madrid game on the split screen and nearly threw up when Arbeloa started hugging and tonguing placcy. nausea forced me to turn it off.

i think the ref used a bit of common sense and took account of the monsoon weather conditions.
