He admited to LFC last year that he had a copy. I think given to him by Man U who were videoing the game for their own use

And apparantly he has joked a few times recently that it'll get shown when LFC.tv come up with enough money

I always thought he was making it up! Is it the 25th anniversary of it or something? Fair balls to him for keeping it that long. (Or, alternatively, what a weirdo.)

How was it received at the do? Was it as good as Glen Crowe's goal versus Pat's (

It's funny that out of all the goals I've ever seen, and some of them dozens of times on replays, it seems like this is one of the ones I remember most vividly. It will be very interesting to see how much is imagination.

I met Jan Molby about 2 days after that game in the car park and I had the ticket stub on me

and he signed it for me

which was nice

what was it really like.. any better than say the Gerrard vs Boro

it wasn't so much the goal as the atmosphere of the night that made it so wonderful.

Anfield was packed for a game that many had thought would not even sell out as it was a midweek Milk Cup game.

There were Manc fans all over the place and there had been scuffles all over the place before the game.

There were people sat on the steps in the Main Stand, and like many legends, over the years the crowd estimate went as high as 60,000. some even compared the chaos of the tnight to St Etienne in 77.

The goal was a cracker and the roof almost came off, other than the goal, not much else comes to mind.

I can't wait to see the real goal.

I was in the Main Stand, pretty well in a direct line behind Molby's run and shot. It was absolutely freezing, but I had a huge sheepy on, as you did. I was in the end seat of the row - maybe due to the ticket chaos? - and leapt out of my seat and ran about 15 rows down the aisle to the wall at the back of the paddock screaming like a madman. Nearest I've got to a Kop-like re-location after a goal since I started sitting down. Not sure if I want to see it, it's immaculate in my head.

I was in the middle of the Kop, just above goal height. Perfect view of it.

We also got a penalty for a foul a country mile outside the area. I think it was for a dodgy handball as well (though not too sure about that). The sweetest kind of penalty against the Mancs. We did have another nailed on penalty turned down though.

he wins a tackle with Whiteside first, near the half way line (always a danger of a career threatening injury when you attempt that)

after along dribble to the edge of the area, it seemed he ran out of ideas so decided to smash it in the back of the net with a shot that would have killed a spectator if it had gone wide

well that's my recollection, anyway
