Bootser Posted August 30, 2009 Posted August 30, 2009 Just back late last night from Lake Garda in Bella Italia. Dutch people ........... ?????? I just don't get them. I didn't meet them all but it struck me that they may have taken over the sterotypical mantle of 'Most unpopular other nationality' from our Teutonic friends! I'm not suggesting they are unfriendly etc but those I encountered seemed less than warm. I had conversations with English, Irish, Italian, German & Austrian folks who all mentioned this to me. Even some of the Dutch I spoke to were scathing about some of the fellow countrymen. Inability to queue, hyper-competitive, brash and loud seemed to be the national mode. Anyone else had a similar experience or can offer an explanation? Surf?
