Playing a second striker won't make us more potent going forward. What we can't afford is Gerrard, Kuyt, Benayoun and Torres all having another bad game. When they fire, the formation looks flawless and Lucas and Mascherano's lack of creativity becomes less of an issue.

Still haunted by that. A striker who averaged a goal every 10 games getting a hattrick against us.

 

 

Problem with the goals we've conceded is that for every set piece goal we concede, the more encouragement our opposition get and the more anxious our players probably get about it too. So looking forward to another game where Torres will get kicked all over the place and get nothing while the opposition will do what ever necessary to win free kicks around our box...
