He's having a bad run, isn't he. Must be the drugs

There can be no other reason for it - this is probably just a smokescreen and he's actually going back into rehab - That damn Yossi

Not even that arsed really, you just get used to him being injured as annoying as it is.

With Alonso gone he is our best option from below the halfway line. That or just let Superman-Johnson bring it out from now.

c**k and balls.

Now, let's hope for our man from Greece to rise to the occasion. Or something.

So we've gone from

Carra Skrtel Agger Hyypia

to

Carra Skrtel GreekGuy Ayala

Not exactly inspiring news.

Except that reading of the situation is based upon Agger being fit before. Which he wasn't, most of the time.

BACK OPERATION FOR AGGER

Posted 21/08/09 08:04EmailPrintSave

Daniel Agger is to undergo an operation on his troublesome back that will rule the Liverpool defender out for another two months.

Having failed to appear during pre-season, Agger has missed both of Liverpool's opening league games due to the injury. According to The Daily Mail, Agger has now been booked in for surgery and will have an operation in France on Tuesday.

'The Liverpool centre-back has pencilled in Denmark's World Cup qualifiers with Sweden and Hungary in the middle of October for his comeback,' the newspaper reports.

While the news represents a setback for Rafa Benitez, the Liverpool boss is expected to add defensive cover to his squad over the weekend in the form of AEK Athens defender Sotirios Kyrgiakos. It is also thought likely that Martin Skrtel, absent for the midweek victory over Stoke with a hairline fracture of the jaw, could be available for Monday's clash with Aston Villa.
