Just saw the highlights of the Notts County game last week. That bit where Hughes is waving his hand in front of his nose when Mavinga squared up to him - did I completely misinterpret that or do officials turn a blind eye to racism when it's a friendly?

On a more positive note, good to see Ayala clatter him in the second half with that beautifully timed challenge.

Saric also looked lively when he came on - be interesting to see more of him.

Hughes was acting the t*** all game, starting putting it about when County realised they couldn't compete with our lads technically. They are League 2 cloggers, that's what they are good at. Tried to bully us but good to see the young lads stand up to them, a good learning experience.

Ayala was excellent throughout, thought Mavinga had a touch of the Djimis about him!

was good when they all kicked off and our lads all backed each other.

They look like a proper team those young lads.

Quite an achievement given the range of nationalities.

Yes - I was glad to see that too - they didn't hide from the physical side individually or collectively.

Quitely impressed with Saric and I thought in a tough physical game that overall Mavinga showed a fair bit of promise - someone also seems to have done some work with Simon, as he's beginning to look more like what he should be - big, strong and getting in there into the right places.

Is that the smelly-breath thing? I saw a Liverpool player (bought from the Spanish league) do that to a black player a while ago and wasn't sure whether it was racist.

I'm not sure why it would be racist?

SGE has bought a house about half a mile from ours. The normally happily depressed County fans don't know what to do with themselves, the pressure is killing them. 11-2 for the title now.

Saw an "exclusive" interview with Sven in his offices at Notts County on SSN yesterday.

He was totallly bemused by the league, the team, the players, the ground and his office - no doubt delighted with his pay cheque though!

Such a blatant mercenary that guy.

Nice work if you can get it. He didn't chase the job, you'd be mad to turn it down in the absence of other offers. They might make it work, it will be interesting to see what happens there. They seem to be going about getting a good side for the level they are at.

The current Mrs Muleskinner used to work with Peter Trembling (the front of the Arab consortium) a number of years ago, he has carved out a pretty impressive career for himself since his days at American Express Travel.

Sorry, my mistake. I'm sure it had nothing to do with racism. Granted, you don't see it done to white players but I guess that's just because black folk have bad breath eh? All the while, you've got 22 blokes running around presumably stinking of sweat but this one guy has bad breath and Hughes figures he'll just let him know - how noble of him.

And disappointed if one of ours has been doing this recently too but it wouldn't be a first.

I genuinely had no idea that it was a racial thing and I still don't understand it - I always assumed it was just a response when 2 players squared up to one another and talked in each others faces

Edwalton or in Bridgford itself?

The whole Notts "Sven watch" is funny - where he's been spotted etc - Harts, Tom Browns, Hooters etc

and from today's Post

"I am staying in a hotel for the moment but I am looking for a place and I think I have found it."

Eriksson has been seen at a number of places in Notts. He is believed to have been house hunting in The Park, River Crescent and Mapperley Park.

local paper in not a clue shocker

and Lee Hughes is still a c***

I fell briefly, but somewhat intensely, in love with a lapdancer called "Honey" in Nottingham. Lovely girl.

I always just thought it was a pretty decent come back to someone who was getting a bit too close in your face. There's not many ways that they can come back to it without looking a t**.

I remember Beckham did it to someone vs, I think, Turkey and briefly I had some respect for him. Didn't last.

Still funny that an 18 year old rookie teenager can rile a 30+ journeyman (ex con) pro within 30mins of a pre-season friendly

Shows the class of the man really
