triple j hottest 100 of all time

triple j - somewhere between radio 1 and radio 6 - has just announced the top 100 songs of all time, as voted by 500,000 listeners. after several months of voting, which closed a couple of days after michael jackson died, the final list was revealed last weekend. voters submitted their top 10 FAVOURITE songs. very indie-centric, and not much by black artists. a lot of obvious choices, a few surprises.

 

the station runs this every few years.
