Worst casting ever?

Watched 'The Road to Perdition' last night and whilst I thought it was a good film, it was ruined in part by the casting of Tom Hanks as a ruthless enforcer and killer.

 

Can there be any more striking example of inappropriate or mismatched casting? Michael Keaton as Batman?
