Quite like Dave Jones (even though he is a bluenose), think he comes across well in the interviews i've seen him in.

 

His book is being serialised in the Times and obviously focuses on the trial. F*ckin poor sod. Does the law allow for action to be taken against false accusers like this? Bunch of no marks ruined his life for a good couple of years and cost him his job, not to mention all the abuse off fans etc

Yes, its perverting the course of justice. Its not commonly followed up though, often because its unclear who is telling the truty and who isn't. Also have to be careful to ensure genuine victims aren't deterred from coming forward by the risk that they may be disbelieved and prosecuted.
