redjersey Posted June 18, 2009 Posted June 18, 2009 HereHe's staying on as Honorary Life President though.
Boca Posted June 18, 2009 Posted June 18, 2009 So he's finally left the yanks have free reign over "the family silver". Prick.
stressederic Posted June 18, 2009 Posted June 18, 2009 It is quite difficult to resign from being a Life President.
Bailo Posted June 18, 2009 Posted June 18, 2009 So what does this mean regarding the board of directors? Is a replacement coming? Do they have to appoint a replacement? With Parry going as well, does that mean our directors are now just the Yanks and their sons?
Gomez Posted June 18, 2009 Posted June 18, 2009 HereHe's staying on as Honorary Life President though. Hicks wins. No allies on the board for Gillet now. Expect all debt to be placed on the club very soon.
redjersey Posted June 18, 2009 Author Posted June 18, 2009 It is quite difficult to resign from being a Life President. It is if you don't want to give up your seat in the Directors' Box.
Gomez Posted June 18, 2009 Posted June 18, 2009 It is if you don't want to give up your seat in the Directors' Box. and why on earth would he? Would anyone on here give up a free season ticket for life?
CarraLegend Posted June 18, 2009 Posted June 18, 2009 Thanks for everything Mr Moores. Legend. I wonder if the old c*** has the balls to speak out properly now?
johngibo YPC Posted June 18, 2009 Posted June 18, 2009 and why on earth would he? Would anyone on here give up a free season ticket for life? To be honest, i'd be too scared to show my face
Sir Tokyo Sexwale Posted June 18, 2009 Posted June 18, 2009 I have a degree of sympathy for Moores. He didn't want any of this to happen. He loves the club like any of the rest of us & it must hurt him badly to see the circus that it's become. He just isn't very bright & was badly advised/lied to. Or am I being naive?

Gomez Posted June 18, 2009 Posted June 18, 2009 To be honest, i'd be too scared to show my face That probably says more about your face than anything else though
Frosty Jack Posted June 18, 2009 Posted June 18, 2009 and selling to G and H was not his only crime. our whole decline was on his watch. precisely.
Marvin Posted June 18, 2009 Posted June 18, 2009 whether he was stupid, greedy, or just a dick, he should be ashamed of that ridiculous title he's been given, and he should resign it. and selling to G and H was not his only crime. our whole decline was on his watch. f*** him. Bit harsh? We never declined in the same way as others eg the Mancs who got relegated and look at Forest and Leeds - ok much smaller clubs. But we stayed in touch with the leaders throughout , won trophies including a treble and Houllier and then Benitez were brought to the club under his watch. It could have been a lot worse.
gkmacca Posted June 18, 2009 Posted June 18, 2009 It could have been a lot worse. Let's translate that into Latin. He can put it on a badge.
Jarg Armani Posted June 18, 2009 Posted June 18, 2009 useless pisshead of a cretin. life president my a*** you cheeky b*****d.
Whitey Posted June 18, 2009 Posted June 18, 2009 Let's translate that into Latin. He can put it on a badge. Ace!! That can be the frontside of the 'johnson TBH' shirts...
Cam Posted June 18, 2009 Posted June 18, 2009 My take is he & Parry were dealt a lesson in business by 2 people who are tough, smart & ruthless enough to succeed at the very top. Unlike them. They then backtracked when they saw what they'd done (probably at the point of G&H trying to put the whole debt on the club) and fought pathetically against them. They expected accolades & thanks for this but got even more stick - hence they're both desserting us in a big sulky "pah, have it your way then - it'll only get worse and it'll be all your fault; not ours" stylee
Crazy Horse Posted June 18, 2009 Posted June 18, 2009 I'm sure his incisive critical thinking skills will be missed in the boardroom. Suppose this was inevitable now that his mate's gone. Thanks Dave, for all you did to knock us off the perch we were on when you took over. You stupid f***ing prick.
MFletcher Posted June 18, 2009 Posted June 18, 2009 I'm surprised he has the balls to set foot in Anfield these days. He should be hounded out of the ground on sight.
Mr Makaveli Posted June 18, 2009 Posted June 18, 2009 and why on earth would he? Would anyone on here give up a free season ticket for life? The million dollar question. I have a feeling that we are on the verge of hearing some very bad news msyelf and Moore's has done with in a final bid to distance himself from the new owners. It's easy to blame him for selling the club to the americans and its even easy to blame the americans but they did intend on building us a big new stadium but the world got in the way. A year earlier and it'd have been no problem at all. but yes, i think we have some very bad news coming to us in the next few days.
