JonShar Posted June 18, 2009 Posted June 18, 2009 http://footylounge.com/films/musicvideo.php?vid=d0ccc2948 Just watched this, and it never seemed to end! Got me thinking - who's the holder of the "Most Number Of Spectacular Goals Scored For Liverpool" award? Kenny/Souness/Barnes/Keegan had some crackers, but as I said this video keeps going and going, and I found myself saying "wow" at every other goal, even though I've seen them all before!
Ethan Posted June 18, 2009 Posted June 18, 2009 If Stevie wins the league a couple of times before his career is over he will become the best ever player in our history - passing out Kenny

Earl Hafler Posted June 18, 2009 Posted June 18, 2009 That strike against Borough is just so bloody brilliant.

If only he hadn't had that sticky 2 year period when he was whoring himself to Chelsea. He lost credibility with a few then which may be something people look back on in years from now.

Whitey Posted June 18, 2009 Posted June 18, 2009 Great vid - and you're right, seems to go on and on (in a good way!!).My immediate thought was no headers too But who needs headers when you can shoot like that.

Serko Posted June 18, 2009 Posted June 18, 2009 If only Lampard played for us. His highlight reel would piss all over Stevie's.
Red2Core Posted June 18, 2009 Posted June 18, 2009 Hope Torres will understand i love Stevie more, what a player matured so much since Rafa moulded him into IMHO one of the best players in the world,if he had a Brazilian name the worlds media would be creaming all the time about him.
allawee Posted June 18, 2009 Posted June 18, 2009 He is always the player for the big occasion which so different to many world stars (e.g. Henry) who tend to disappear in finals. A true legend
Cam Posted June 18, 2009 Posted June 18, 2009 Yawn... a pass from left midfield and he belts it into the net. Gets a bit tedious after a bit. Great to see a few set up by (what looks like) Jari.
Chewie Posted June 18, 2009 Posted June 18, 2009 back in my under-14 Boys Brigade league I once scored 19 goals from centre mid, 18 of which were from long range... I could have been a contender...
Nebraska Red Posted June 19, 2009 Posted June 19, 2009 thought I saw Kewell running in the last clip, must have been an illusion. most of the goals were alright I suppose. some right corkers in that lot. a compilation of Gerrard and Torres goals would be something to see, not too many tap ins.
mick Posted June 19, 2009 Posted June 19, 2009 Can't imagine any midfielder around at the moment playing at the highest that has scored anything like the amount of spectacular goals Stevie G has...
growler Posted June 19, 2009 Posted June 19, 2009 Once we win the title, he will be one of the elite players to win every major trophy for his club at least once. And he is rich. and he is four years younger than me. jealous? ME? damn right.
