Zoob Posted June 8, 2009 Posted June 8, 2009 Man Utd somehow getting 6 million (from Hull) for Frazer Campbell, who aside from scoring twice against us - goals gifted by our incompetence rather than his skill - managed 1 other goal in 20+ games.
Candystore Posted June 8, 2009 Posted June 8, 2009 There always seem to get decent money for their crap players
Stevie H Posted June 8, 2009 Posted June 8, 2009 not so much crap as unproven. their having made it through the ranks at united and been bigged up by ferguson at some point seems to swell their actual value by about 300%. it's the state of affairs we need to get to as well.
Benzo-13 Posted June 8, 2009 Posted June 8, 2009 6m for campbell is f***ing nuts.Wouldn't give 6p. Makes Voronin look like Cruyff.
Kvarme Ate My Food Posted June 8, 2009 Posted June 8, 2009 not so much crap as unproven. their having made it through the ranks at united and been bigged up by ferguson at some point seems to swell their actual value by about 300%. it's the state of affairs we need to get to as well. "they don't get a game at Man U because there are world-class players ahead of them" becomes "the ONLY reason they don't get a game at Man U is that there are world-class players ahead of them" in the common imagination. It's been that way for years.
CarraLegend Posted June 8, 2009 Posted June 8, 2009 Kaka is apparently announcing his move to Real at 1am our time.
CarraLegend Posted June 8, 2009 Posted June 8, 2009 Where'd you hear that mate? Was on sky earlier, he's apparently holding a press conference in a bit. Never had him down as a bulls***ter, when he said he was gonna stay the other day I thought that was that. Maybe Milan's finances are a wreck or something and he felt he had to go.
Boca Posted June 8, 2009 Posted June 8, 2009 SSN saying 6 year deal signed Yeah they had footage of him going for a medical in Brazil earlier. Madrid sent their doctor over.

Bad news as it means that Ladyboy c*** is staying at united for another season
stressederic Posted June 8, 2009 Posted June 8, 2009 Bad news as it means that Ladyboy c*** is staying at united for another season Perez has been going on about how he wants them both.
Sion Posted June 8, 2009 Posted June 8, 2009 Perez has been going on about how he wants them both. They certainly need both, and they can easily afford both if Perez is to be believed.
Hassony Posted June 8, 2009 Posted June 8, 2009 Kaka, Ronaldo and Xabi will be some summer for them they have bid £16m for valancia as well
McBain Posted June 9, 2009 Posted June 9, 2009 This summer has the feel of being really mad and hectic. Real and Man City are gonna flood the market with money and the knock on effect will be felt all over europe
Rimbeux Posted June 9, 2009 Posted June 9, 2009 There always seem to get decent money for their crap players Reputation of producing youth and Ferguson's approval, hype in other words, they're not scared to talk them up and window them Kaka, Ronaldo and Xabi will be some summer for them they have bid £16m for valancia as well I think that is a cute move whereby the come to an accommodation with Utd, leave the path clear for Valencia or include him in a future deal
growler Posted June 9, 2009 Author Posted June 9, 2009 imagine if Real get all they want: Raul, HiguanRibery, Kaka, Alonso, Ronaldo or if they go with our formation VillaRibery, Kaka, RonaldoAlonso, Gago/guti/other be interesting to see what happens with their cast offs. VdV, Sneijder, Robben, Drenthe, Higuan, Gago, horse, all players I would look at to increase the size of our squad.
Swipe Posted June 9, 2009 Posted June 9, 2009 Was on sky earlier, he's apparently holding a press conference in a bit. Never had him down as a bulls***ter, when he said he was gonna stay the other day I thought that was that. Maybe Milan's finances are a wreck or something and he felt he had to go. My fave quote from him was: ""I wanted to stay (at Milan) but the world crisis affected my decision". Ha! f*** off! Why didn't you sign for City for £100m then.
Leo No.8 Posted June 9, 2009 Posted June 9, 2009 Think Milan actually encouraged Kaka to go because they wanted the money. Some players say it to try to leave on good terms but I genuinely believe he'd have been happy to stay in his case. And I actually respect him for not going to City for the stupid money. Here's a tip though - I think he'll be a disappointment at Madrid, just got a feeling he won't prove to be worth the money (if anyone could be worth that much). To be honest I'd have sold him for £56m. He's a great player but I personally think Messi, Gerrard and Ronaldo are all a very small level above him in terms of their overall impact on games.
Sion Posted June 9, 2009 Posted June 9, 2009 (edited) he's been quiet to us because Milan haven't performed outside of Italy. He's still got a very good Serie A record across the seasons, similar to Gerrard. Could give a very good idea as to whether or not the Italian league is now as weak as thought Edited June 9, 2009 by Sion
Bailo Posted June 9, 2009 Posted June 9, 2009 This summer has the feel of being really mad and hectic. Real and Man City are gonna flood the market with money and the knock on effect will be felt all over europeUnless debt repayments swallow it up!
