Behind Enemy Lines Posted June 1, 2009 Posted June 1, 2009 clickityagree with most - but not with some - not sure what his formation is either - but hayho - he writes better than he interviews - just
Sion Posted June 1, 2009 Posted June 1, 2009 Evra? is he the default pick for LB? he's been s****. Same with Ashley Young...and John Terry, not even the best CB at Chelsea this year.
psl Posted June 1, 2009 Posted June 1, 2009 Xabi did well to pip Robinho in the hotly contested central midfield slot.

Same with Ashley Young...and John Terry, not even the best CB at Chelsea this year.I think that the state of fullbacks in the league is at an all time low (now I'll never admit this in public - but Ashley cole for me is by far the best leftback in the league) you have picked two of the names that made me wince also - for a 442 - he's picked 4 forwards (Gerrard & c.ronaldo have both played the majority of the season as forwards rather than midfield)
Benitez Posted June 1, 2009 Posted June 1, 2009 I'm impressed that he's mentioned Insua there Spot on with the choice of manager. Given though? Surely he's not had half as impressive a season as Pepe has had!
The Hitman Posted June 5, 2009 Posted June 5, 2009 Absurd to mention Insua as a possibility for left-back.He's barely played!Imagine if he'd mentioned Rafael as a contender for right-back,we'd all be up in arms.
Raj Posted June 5, 2009 Posted June 5, 2009 I thought it should have been Van Der Saar, Johnson, Hangelaand, A Cole instead. The others are all ok
