carrafan Posted May 26, 2009 Posted May 26, 2009 (edited) Please make Barcelona win today. Else we'll never hear the end of it. Both fullbacks ineligible though. Edited May 26, 2009 by carrafan
Stevie H Posted May 27, 2009 Posted May 27, 2009 united will kick lumps out of messi, iniesta and xavi, they'll sit back and invite barca onto them and attempt to counter-attack, then they'll win it 1-0 with a second half dodgy peno or deflection.
Nebraska Red Posted May 27, 2009 Posted May 27, 2009 I am taking the kids to see X-Men Wolverine. I'll DVR it and either save it or dump it. Please let Barca win, hopefully with a last minute deflection off Rooney's ass from a pass back by Placcy. Then, Slurgie's head will explode as he goes postal on the officials.
Siang Posted May 27, 2009 Posted May 27, 2009 it's inevitable... they will be at 18-4 by midnight tonite!!!
psl Posted May 27, 2009 Posted May 27, 2009 Can't stomach the idea of them winning their fourth European Cup tonight. I expect them to though.
oakie bob Posted May 27, 2009 Posted May 27, 2009 Come on Barca, I have them in the sweep in work, I have told the girl who has the mancs its dirty money if she wins it
Siang Posted May 27, 2009 Posted May 27, 2009 Can't stomach the idea of them winning their fourth European Cup tonight. I expect them to though. they will ..... then they will fall off the face of the earth from next season onwards
Chili Palmer Posted May 27, 2009 Posted May 27, 2009 I'm off sick today, might have something to do with pleasegoddon'tletthemwin-itus.
John am Rhein Posted May 27, 2009 Posted May 27, 2009 0-0, Barcelona win on penalties Man of the match: the Roman riot police
Sir Tokyo Sexwale Posted May 27, 2009 Posted May 27, 2009 The Mancs have been in 2 ECF's during my life. I've watched none, they've won both. Tonight, that shall change
Spike Posted May 27, 2009 Posted May 27, 2009 I'm off to meet a lass in a country pub with no telly. She hates the mancs too
Tones Posted May 27, 2009 Posted May 27, 2009 The Mancs have been in 2 ECF's during my life. I've watched none, they've won both. Tonight, that shall change Thats the spirit. I on the other hand have had to endure both of them, so tonight i will be giving the game a miss.
D.Boon Posted May 27, 2009 Posted May 27, 2009 Kick lumps out of Barca. Play 4 defensive midfielders and hope Ronaldo and Rooney can do something on the break. Business as usual really for them.
Stevie H Posted May 27, 2009 Posted May 27, 2009 The Mancs have been in 2 ECF's during my life. I've watched none, they've won both. Tonight, that shall changei watched the '99 final in a pub in north london and mine was the sole cheering voice when basler put bayern in front. i then got pelters after solskjaer scored so did one. don't think i'll be watching tonight unless i've got insomnia.
Flanders Posted May 27, 2009 Posted May 27, 2009 (edited) I can't see them not winning it. Barcelonas famed front three will have the tougher defence to break down and I actually think it is arguable as to who has the better front three anyway.Sad to say, but I reckon 2 - 0 to Utd. Thank f*** they fielded that weakened team against Everton in the FA Cup. Oh, and Messi and Eto'o to be non existant. Edited May 27, 2009 by Flanders

I watched it in a pub in Germany where virtually all the British present were supporting Bayern and virtually all the Germans were supporting the filth.
quibs Posted May 27, 2009 Posted May 27, 2009 Any team that can defend, us, united and chelsea will always do well against Barca.. Defend and get goal on break, kick Messi and Iniesta. I see united winning this one nil.. Didnt watch last year. Just gonna have to pray and hope united dont win tonight... Maybe without Fletcher they might lose
Sion Posted May 27, 2009 Posted May 27, 2009 Someone fecking s*** like O'Shea or Park will score after them playing the most turgid game ever and they'll win 1-0Everyone will still go on about how United play football the way 'it's meant to be played' whilst Rafa gets abused in the press for being cautious and defensive
Bailo Posted May 27, 2009 Posted May 27, 2009 Utd to win both halves is 8.2 on betfair, seems very generous.
growler Posted May 27, 2009 Posted May 27, 2009 a 96th minute goal from ronaldo, which bounces of 3 players and the ref, before settling in the goal. Ronaldo declared best player ever. Oh, and Messi to go off injured after 12 minutes and Puyol to be sent off after 29.
