Superjay Posted May 16, 2009 Posted May 16, 2009 He'll get a nice response from anfield next weekend so.... "He (harry) is a pleasure to work with, all the players respond to what he does on the training pitch and its always good when you've got a manager that you can understand."
Sion Posted May 16, 2009 Posted May 16, 2009 He can't be that good, he doesn't understand Keane is s****. The fans are starting to turn on him though, they will even more if he keeps their other strikers out the team. Think he's scored 2 goals? from open play since his move. That's even worse form than with us.

"He (harry) is a pleasure to work with, all the players respond to what he does on the training pitch and its always good when you've got a manager that you can understand." f*** him, let him rot with arl 'appy 'arry. He's a waste of space and I absolutely loathe the c***. Im gonna throw a chainsaw at him next weekend, hopefully it takes the c**** head off.

Minder78 Posted May 16, 2009 Posted May 16, 2009 Dont fret lads it wasnt personal with us, he is f***ing missing sitters for the Spuds too. At least two today.
JonShar Posted May 16, 2009 Posted May 16, 2009 Not sure how that's a pop at Rafa, unless you're my ex-girlfriend and ridiculously sensitive.
Farmer's Tan Posted May 16, 2009 Posted May 16, 2009 best thing to do is to just hammer the s*** out of them, the cartwheeling pos.
Superjay Posted May 16, 2009 Author Posted May 16, 2009 Not sure how that's a pop at Rafa, unless you're my ex-girlfriend and ridiculously sensitive. It was quite clear what he meant.
Sion Posted May 16, 2009 Posted May 16, 2009 Why didn't the Irish forumites warn us what a total bellend he was. Shame on you.
Minder78 Posted May 16, 2009 Posted May 16, 2009 Why didn't the Irish forumites warn us what a total bellend he was. Shame on you. I thought he would score a few more goals though and he could be as big a c**k as he liked.
Benzo-13 Posted May 16, 2009 Posted May 16, 2009 Why didn't the Irish forumites warn us what a total bellend he was. Shame on you.The moment he gave it "Do you know who I am" while trying to skip the queue at his local nightclub (in 2001 - I was there with some of his former teammates) showed him up big time as a bell.
Case Posted May 16, 2009 Posted May 16, 2009 Why didn't the Irish forumites warn us what a total bellend he was. Shame on you. Eh .....
Knox_Harrington Posted May 16, 2009 Posted May 16, 2009 A bad buy. Thank f*** we got rid of him.Yep. Shouldn't have been bought and brilliant and ballsy to get rid when we did. Love the signature by the way. Every post sends me back to the song.
JonShar Posted May 16, 2009 Posted May 16, 2009 It was quite clear what he meant. You're probably right, I'm sure I missed the part at the end where he said "unlike Rafa".

Andy @ Allerton Posted May 17, 2009 Posted May 17, 2009 I was neutral really when he signed - but he actually made Igor, Sean Dundee, Kvarme (He wears shinpads in training Enthused Roy Evans) and that other fella up front look world class
Superjay Posted May 17, 2009 Author Posted May 17, 2009 (edited) You're probably right, I'm sure I missed the part at the end where he said "unlike Rafa". Or like my ex-girlfriend you need a lesson in reading between the lines. Edited May 17, 2009 by Superjay
JonShar Posted May 17, 2009 Posted May 17, 2009 Or like my ex-girlfriend you need a lesson in reading between the lines. Probably so, I tend to ignore people who don't just come out and say what they mean - and of course by association I tend to ignore people who hear "potato" when someone says "carrot".

Too right. Carrots should be associated with peas...not f***ing potatoes.
fyds Posted May 17, 2009 Posted May 17, 2009 I think it's clear he was having a backhanded go at Rafa there - but it's a bit handbags and petty on the sort of level we've come to expect from Keane. I wonder what bit he didn't understand? Probably the 'Just put the ball in the net, no?' bit...
John am Rhein Posted May 17, 2009 Posted May 17, 2009 Too right. Carrots should be associated with peas...not f***ing potatoes. Keane should be associated with potatoes
Maharajkumar of Vizianagram Posted May 17, 2009 Posted May 17, 2009 I've seen a lot worse play for us. There were loads of people making 'give him time' type statements about Diouf for a lot longer than they did Keane. Not sure whether his attitude was up to it but his occasionally having to play as a lone-striker in the absence of Torres didn't help either. Getting rid of him made sense and he's proved himself a petty and rather dislikable c***, but like the other fella in this thread I'm not convinced that particular quote's a dig at Rafa. It could be taken in a couple of different ways.
Rory Fitzgerald Posted May 17, 2009 Posted May 17, 2009 I think it is a pop at Rafa. Everyone assumes that a player can understand a manager - its just such a basic assumption. Therefore, to actually mention it as a positive for a manager - (understanding a manager is a positive ) - then there has to be a double meaning to it. Its a pop at Rafa or else Harry Redknapp is such a complete bell end of a manager that the only positive is the players understand him.
Benitez Posted May 17, 2009 Posted May 17, 2009 of course it's a dig at Rafa, but really, would he be bothered? This team is going the right way with Rafa, and without Keane. It's that simple. Keane is the one who's career has stagnated after showing the world that he didn't have the talent, intelligence or cojones to play at a big club.
