The manc sonofwhores did stumble across the line and our dream is over for this season.. I do not know why but this year mancs winning is much more painful than it ever has been.. However, if we look at the season objectively we have improved exponentially in terms of style of football and consistency.. People will moan about draws at Anfield but in the latter half post Real Madrid we have rectified the problem and some.. I am already looking forward to next season.. I just hope our transfer market activities are a resounding success.. If we win the title next season a new era of domination could be upon us.. The thing I am really bitter about is thinking back at the luck of the mancs.. sickening really

Given Rafa's transfer budget it's almost impossible for him to better the team, the fact that he might say's it all really.

We need a striker a LW a CM and a RB that are up to standard that's 70m and Rafa somehow has to do that for 30m ..... given the shortfall in cash Rafa has to take a lot of gambles and that can mean at worst we dont improve for several seasons. At best it means silverware .... Rafa has an even tougher job now as expectations are so high

I don't know why everyone keeps coming up with "games that lost the league" or "patterns" like the stats above.

Sure, there were games where we dominated and could only draw. But there were also games where we scored in the last minutes - and sometimes seconds - of a game.

These things even out over a season.

Bottom line is we were significantly better this year over last, and with a little more depth added over the summer we can look forward to the same next year.
