mathewbet1 Posted May 14, 2009 Posted May 14, 2009 Lets hope for a repeat. Fabrigas to clash with Ronalso resulting in 21 man brawl where Rondaldo gets t****** and a broken leg. End result Man utd docked 6 or so points. Jobs a good un. there lucks gotta run out sometime. 20/10/90 - Manchester United 0 Arsenal 1, First Division Anders Limpar's goal won it for the eventual champions, but the game will be remembered for a 21-man brawl that was sparked by Nigel Winterburn's lunge on Denis Irwin. The huge fight that broke out led to Arsenal being docked two points and United one, and this match is often cited as the start of the bitter rivalry between the clubs that has marked the Premier League era.
Swipe Posted May 14, 2009 Posted May 14, 2009 Keown looks like he's been crucified on an invisible cross

Assuming we beat the Baggies we woud be 2pts behind with better goal difference. Man Utd would have to beat Hull.
Sir Tokyo Sexwale Posted May 14, 2009 Posted May 14, 2009 I'm with this. Even if the Mancs 'win the league' on Sat, I'm holding out for a points dock...
Chili Palmer Posted May 14, 2009 Posted May 14, 2009 lots on injuries, the leagues gone but an injury or two is always good to see if they have a big cup final coming up.
Mike Posted May 14, 2009 Posted May 14, 2009 I'm with this. Even if the Mancs 'win the league' on Sat, I'm holding out for a points dock... in a bonnie tyler style
Rory Fitzgerald Posted May 14, 2009 Posted May 14, 2009 Can't.....quite.......reach........those..........straws...........grasping..........desperately Anyway, they are all a pack of fairies that wouldnt pack a decent punch !
Swipe Posted May 14, 2009 Posted May 14, 2009 Can't.....quite.......reach........those..........straws...........grasping..........desperately Anyway, they are all a pack of fairies that wouldnt pack a decent punch ! Exactly. Previous Arsenal teams have had steel right through them. This current bunch are the most gutless, spineless lot in the league!
Sion Posted May 14, 2009 Posted May 14, 2009 Arsenal are terrible. They are spineless. United will walk all over them, especially at home.I wish i could say this was mockering.
MarkD Posted May 14, 2009 Posted May 14, 2009 Guys, I'd trust WBA to be more of a challenge at OT this weekend. Arsenal are finished. The players play solely for themselves, their is no collective spirit or will and I'm not sure they are motivated by their manager anymore. Club on the cusp.

sutty Posted May 14, 2009 Posted May 14, 2009 Last days of Houllier feel. Somewhere David Hodgson's ire is rising, but he is unsure as to why
Rory Fitzgerald Posted May 14, 2009 Posted May 14, 2009 We went to Utd and pulled off an unlikely win when Utd were coasting. They then went away from home in their next game and lost. Here's to hoping it kicks in again !
smithdown Posted May 14, 2009 Posted May 14, 2009 We'd have more chance if they got that 1990 team out of retirement and sent them out on Saturday
Benzo-13 Posted May 14, 2009 Posted May 14, 2009 Last days of Houllier feel. I've discussed this with mates.Exactly how it is. Dark pits of Hades in supporters heads and shot stats being spewed guff.
madaboutlfc Posted May 14, 2009 Posted May 14, 2009 Last days of Houllier feel.they were worse.. A CL semi, a FA Cup semi and finishing 4th would have been a monumental success under Houllier even at the best of times.. oh and as bad as Arsenal arent as bad as losing at Anfield to charlton days or away sunderland.. by god those were dark times
growler Posted May 15, 2009 Posted May 15, 2009 lets be honest, even if there is a mass brawl, the mancs would just arrange for the points for be deducted next season instead. Also, with the luck they are having this season, ronaldo would go off with suspected broken legs, and his ambulance whilst rushing to hospital will realise that its just a scratch on his knee. as they head back to the stadium, they hit a car carrying some barca players (Puyol, Messi, Etoo and Henry who popped over to see the game) and puts them out of action for month.
Stevie H Posted May 15, 2009 Posted May 15, 2009 united's players could break out ak47s and gun arsenal down then turn the guns on the arsenal supporters and the league still would not dock them any points.

Walrus Posted May 15, 2009 Posted May 15, 2009 Yeah, winning 3 trophies was crap... Houllier's last days, not his whole stint here.
Bigal Posted May 15, 2009 Posted May 15, 2009 united's players could break out ak47s and gun arsenal down then turn the guns on the arsenal supporters and the league still would not dock them any points. ronaldo would dive over eboue's twitching corpse and get a pen
