I didn't see the Chelsea game - but if it was anywhere near as w*** as we played today - then we certainly didn't deserve to win.

Yesterdays game was the most pathetic attempt at Football I've ever had the misfortune to witness at any level. Under 5s would be embarrased by the joke of Midfield and Defence shown on both sides yesterady. Utter f***ing cack.

The fact is - if we play like we did yesterday - we don't deserve to win f*** all.

That wasn't football yesterday - and what makes it even more laughable is that the media are talking about 'one of the best games ever'.

That sums up the media and press in this country and it's sad that football has sunk so low. It's even sadder that you've got Liverpool 'fans' that agree with them. People in work were talking about 'one of the greatest games ever'.

Well. They must be on f***ing drugs. What the f*** was supposed to be 'good' about yesterdays game? f***ing s**** from f***ing start to f***ing finish. No defence. No midfield. No formations. No tactics I could see.

f*** me. All I ask is that I never get to see such a f***ing w*** game in the rest of my life. The players and manager should be well embarrased about it because I f***ing am.

They had four shots on target all night. Three of those shots shouldn't have been allowed and were the result of poor individual errors by some of our better players.

We battered them, and how we managed to draw I really don't know.

Andy has finally cracked and is ompletely mad, last nights result wasn't down to poor tactics or a non performance by the team, it was down to stupid individual errors. The league title may well have gone but i'm not sure it has and i'm not prepared to give up hope just yet.

Unfortunately this post sums you up. Up and down like a bridegrooms bellend.

We played some of our best football in years on occasions yesterday. 1970's Brazil would have been proud of some of our moves at times.

Its a shame that those defensive blunders were made because thats what they were. Arshavin, Bendtner and Nasri didnt get a sniff all game. I think the fact that we're towards the back end of a tough tough season is taking its toll now...both physically and mentally. Torres and Yossi havent played much and Kuyt's just duracell bunny in disguise. So its not a surprise that they look fresher. Maybe Rafa should have rotated more. :D

The league is probably gone, but we've come a long way this season. We have a spine, AND a very good squad. Just a couple of underperformers who can be replaced to have a league winning team. Rafa has got a new deal which should just about kill the Rafa to Madrid rumours and the confusion behind the scenes. Our youth setup and reserves have a bunch of players who look to have a future. Its good news all round.

I have one more point to make. This year we played with almost the same squad as last season and have taken United to the brink. It suggests how important it is for teammates to 'gel' and once thats done partnerships can be formed all over the pitch, making it easier to defend and attack as a team. I hope Rafa gets the couple of players he's looking for and new contracts for our current ones, we should be good to go.

We were superb going forward.

fragile defensively.

The opponents scored with virtually all efforts they had, it just happens sometimes.

Absolutely spot on. The speed and accuracy of our passing at times is astonishing and a joy to watch.

Pretty much sums it up. Our ability to score almost at will nowadays is incredible. It's just that we we were a little too ambitious last night, which put our defence under pressure and led to mistakes.

Truth of the matter is that despite our attacking play looking superb we looked apauling at the back.

4 goals for Arshavin and he looked crap. How does that happen? 3 clear mistakes for the first 3 goals by Masch, Arbeloa and Aurelio and then a break away goal which left us crazily 2 vs 1.

Andy has gone over the top here but the truth is that we won't win the title now. I've no doubt that we can win our 5 remaining games, but Utd have 7 games left. They'll win at least 5 of those and can't see them losing 2.

What was even more crazy was that we left the slowest player on the pitch as our last man to face Walcott.

If we wanted to send Carra and Agger in the box then surely to God Masch was a better bet as the last man than Xabi.

andy have you ever actually been checked out for autism?

If you're happy with our defence looking like they've never even met each other and our midfield making errors for fun - then fair play.

What made the game worse yesterday than even that was the Arsenal's defence looked like they'd never met each other and their midfield were making errors for fun as well.

But we can forget that because "It was a great game. Must have been cos there were 8 goals"

Fair enough.

Personally I like the way Rafa has built the team. We work well and in concert up and down the pitch. Solid and resourceful and able to get good moves going. Last night for me was several steps backwards. Maybe it was the desperation to win - and I agree that in the end we Had to go for it - but for the full 90 minutes - it was like watching a bunch of kids on both sides. If that's the future of modern football - then I'm not sure. The Yanks especially would have loved it - without grasping that the basic tactics and organsation that Liverpool have shown brilliantly all season were missing completely.

But - 8 goals. Great Game.

But no one can deny that we on the verge of something quite special.

Also it raises an interesting question;

Which of these two would be ultimately more satisfying?

1 Preventing the Mancs from equalling our title haul, or

2 Accelerate away from them at great speed in terms of titles just as soon as they had managed to finally draw level?

We're going to have to hope for 2 because 1 is a 100% cert now.

We had our chance and cavalier and ridiculous play have f***ed us up.

If we don't win the league, it will not be because of last night, but because we failed to play with such urgency against several weaker sides at home earlier in the season.

I hope we continue to play like we did last night - with a tad more discipline and fewer mistakes, which I'm sure Rafa will address - for the rest of the season and into next. We've proved that we can be defensively solid under Rafa, but it's hugely encouraging that we can now be considered a dominant attacking force.

We won't win it now. We've f***ed it up through a ridiculous series of errors and laughable play yesterday.

Arsenal were there for the taking. If we'd played our normal game and kept it controlled and focused like we have all season - we'd have won 1-0 or 2-0.

They didn't even looked that bothered - but our play was suicidal - and from the sounds of it wasn't much different than when we played Chelsea.

The good news is that I can't see it being possible that we'll manage to ever play that badly again - never mind this season - so we stand a good chance in forthcoming games.

If I were Rafa I'd fine the whole midfield and defence for yesterdays pathetic display.
