R A Softlad Posted April 21, 2009 Posted April 21, 2009 http://www.epltalk.com/steven-cohen-blames...h-disaster/5915 Guy's a complete tool. Any US based fans please boycott his show.
R A Softlad Posted April 21, 2009 Author Posted April 21, 2009 I’ve emailed Apple in an effort to have his show withdrawn from iTunes. He also works for Fox which is part of Murdoch’s empire so I wouldn’t expect anything from them. How Nick Geber can consider someone with this view point a friend - time to cut your losses Nick.
surf Posted April 21, 2009 Posted April 21, 2009 What a feckin nazi. Why am i not surprised this guy works for Murdoch? S*n, Sky, Notw, now Fox. Every vile, disgusting, repulsive piece of s*** newspaper or tv channel seems to belong to him. His media have never had anything decent to say about us. They're fantastically great at misrepresenting the truth and pushing Murdoch's agenda, be it pro-thatcher, pro-republicans or anti-liverpool and they dont care who they have to hurt or whose careers they have to destroy to get what they want. The world will be a better place when Murdoch keels over and dies.
R A Softlad Posted April 21, 2009 Author Posted April 21, 2009 I've emailed Nick Geber for an explanation.
Tasha Posted April 21, 2009 Posted April 21, 2009 I had an argument about him with a guy who believed him. Idiot.
cymrococh Posted April 21, 2009 Posted April 21, 2009 He's obviously just doing it to get a reaction, the sick c*nt.
R A Softlad Posted April 21, 2009 Author Posted April 21, 2009 Have also contacted Sirius who broadcast his show.
downunder Posted April 21, 2009 Posted April 21, 2009 I think we should try and get Liverpool to contact him, maybe Ian Cotton can do something?
floyd Posted April 21, 2009 Posted April 21, 2009 Have contacted the club too.about time the club started to get serious with to55ers like this. Murdoch employee again, I see
Chili Palmer Posted April 21, 2009 Posted April 21, 2009 The w***** is trying to make a name for himself.
Barnesy_10 Posted April 21, 2009 Posted April 21, 2009 anyone read the reply they received from him in the comments section at the bottom? f***ing hell what a prick.. Shocking that people with loud voices have these opinions... its dangerous and sickening.
Snookie Posted April 21, 2009 Posted April 21, 2009 A large number of the comments are also ignorant and offensive.
Bailo Posted April 21, 2009 Posted April 21, 2009 He's done it before a number of times hasn't he? Sure someone on here got into an email argument with him where he refused to admit he was wrong.
Nerik Posted April 21, 2009 Posted April 21, 2009 Anyone know a decent Chelsea fan who could talk sense to him?
Sir Tokyo Sexwale Posted April 21, 2009 Posted April 21, 2009 From the sticky thread above This gets worse - friends of mine in the US have been in contact with Cohen about this, it's time to step up the heat & get him fired by Fox. Here's the transcrpit: Attention Steven Cohen: Mr. Cohen, Your comments on WSD on April 13th, 2009 are disgraceful. Your assertion that the Hillsborough Disaster in 1989 was due to 6,000-8,000 Liverpool Fans without tickets is outrageous and typifies the type of sheer reckless unsubstantiated and uninformed statements that Kelvin MacKenzie also spouted in The Sun Newspaper in England 20 years ago. Have you even read the Taylor Report? Were you even in attendance that Fateful April Day? I was Mr. Cohen, and I, along with thousands of others, take offence to your ignorance. To use your public forum to vent your own misguided beliefs that have no basis of fact and serve only to air your inflated ego and fill the minds of young impressionable soccer fans in America is even more distu rbing. Was it not bad enough that you had to apologize for your long-held beliefs the first time you verbalized your “Conspiracy Theory” in 2006? Not only are your comments and long-held misplaced beliefs a disgrace to the families directly affected by the disaster, as well as the rest of us that will never forget what happened that day 20 years ago, but your professionalism and objectivity (or lack thereof) further call in to question your self-inflated reputation as being some sort of authority on soccer here, especially here in the United States, where for reasons unbeknown to me, someone actually thinks you warrant having a microphone and an audience. You are in the wrong Mr. Cohen. Ordinarily a sincere apology would be appropriate, but that’s a road you have traveled down before and it clearly hasn’t changed your perspective one iota. If you would like to actually speak with someone who was there that day, please give me a call here in Florida and I would be only too pleased to give you an informed eye-witness first hand account. Not that i think for one minute that would, nor do i think that you have any desire whatsover to understand and become informed of the facts, which are well documented. Grant FreerBoca Raton, Florida Reply “No i am not and you should consider the facts. Liverpool are at the center of almost every serious human violation of conduct. Heysel, Hillsbrough, Alan Smityh, Singing about Munich 58, throwing s*** on United fans at Anfield, Michael Shields…are you seriously telling me that you are not guilty of any of this. 2 events4 years2 different cities2 different countries2 different stadium 135 dead Only common link….well have a guess. This not meant as disrespect for the 96 or their famalies but Justice…waht justice are you looking for…to be relieved of the shame and guilt and if you can get the South Yorkshire police to admit something juust to get you off their backs…that is what you are talking about.” Cheers,Steven. Thanks for listening to World Soccer Daily 1-866-925-8255
Chili Palmer Posted April 21, 2009 Posted April 21, 2009 That is shocking. we should invite him to attend the next service and ask him to repeat it.
sutty Posted April 21, 2009 Posted April 21, 2009 Jesus christ Molby, it's time to bring your guerilla task force out
Gerry Posted April 21, 2009 Posted April 21, 2009 He's done it before a number of times hasn't he? Sure someone on here got into an email argument with him where he refused to admit he was wrong. Pretty certain it was New England Red aka SkippyjonJones who got into an argument with him previously. He does this every year and is a total c*** (Cohen that is).
ManxRed Posted April 21, 2009 Posted April 21, 2009 Are you sure he didn't get a 13 year old chav to write that email response for him? Is he a grown adult?
Stevie H Posted April 21, 2009 Posted April 21, 2009 he probably sees himself as some sort of football bill o'reilly. odious nurk.
smithdown Posted April 21, 2009 Posted April 21, 2009 he probably sees himself as some sort of football bill o'reilly. odious nurk. Very much so.
D.Boon Posted April 21, 2009 Posted April 21, 2009 Even by American standards he is a particularly ill educated, over opinionated w*****.
