Laporta has now said they aren't after him, but his quotes were full of "we don't want to sour our relationship with Bayern" and "he means to Bayern what messi means to us and we don't want to disrespect that" type quotes, so reads like he's just trying to make sure Bayern don't think they're trying to unsettle him.

 

You're right though - Ribery and Messi on either side would be ridiculously good!

I think they play YNWA at most German grounds at the end of games, to be honest. That's my anecdotal evidence from a mate who lived in Hamburg.
