stressederic Posted April 4, 2009 Posted April 4, 2009 I think if that happens we both finish on 86 points.
allawee Posted April 4, 2009 Posted April 4, 2009 I don't think it will be as straight forward as this. Both teams will probably drop more points and I can see 83 points winning it this year

Was thinking about this with injury time left today that even if we draw there is still a good chance we could win it.
New York Red Posted April 4, 2009 Author Posted April 4, 2009 I think if that happens we both finish on 86 points. Yep. We win on goal difference.
stressederic Posted April 4, 2009 Posted April 4, 2009 Yep. We win on goal difference. There's no way I'll live through that level of stress.
CarraLegend Posted April 4, 2009 Posted April 4, 2009 The filth will drop the points, it's just up to us to keep winning. Though they'll win tomorrow.
Dmitch Posted April 5, 2009 Posted April 5, 2009 if it comes down to goal dif... i might have a stroke!
chrisbonnie Posted April 5, 2009 Posted April 5, 2009 if it comes down to goal dif... i might have a stroke! pity its not like spain, we`d win by head to head if it goes to the last game, i actually think ill hVE cornoary im twenty f***ing seven!!!!!

Stevie H Posted April 5, 2009 Posted April 5, 2009 i don't know where people are getting this impression that united are going to implode from. they've been there and done it often enough for us to not be thinking that way. we might have the big mo but it's still going to be an enormous ask.

IF they drop points against Villa THIS team may implode. There is unrest in the camp, arrogance and a little complacency, there's also a feud brewing between Rooney and Slur Alex... put enough pressure on this team and it's a possibility. Thing is we have to not only win all our games, we have to rely on other teams not dropping their pants.

Chili Palmer Posted April 5, 2009 Posted April 5, 2009 I predict at last one error in the above But we will win the title for the simple reason that we are better than they are I have always believed that we were the better team this season, the only thing they are better than us at is consistancy, take that away and we might just sneak it.

KD07 Posted April 5, 2009 Posted April 5, 2009 pity its not like spain, we`d win by head to head if it goes to the last game, i actually think ill hVE cornoary im twenty f***ing seven!!!!! gotta admit that's a great way to go.

I agree. The pressure works both ways as well now. I fully expect them to win today which puts the pressure back on us.

Kahnee Posted April 5, 2009 Posted April 5, 2009 Rafa's 'one game at a time' mantra has never been more relevant. Right now, all we should be focusing on is making the tie safe on Wednesday. After that, worry about Blackburn - and look no further. All we can do is win all of our remaining games. Everything else is out of our hands.

allez les rouges Posted April 5, 2009 Posted April 5, 2009 west ham away and arsenal at home are the big ones for us. If we get maximum points from those games I think we will do it.
Sion Posted April 5, 2009 Posted April 5, 2009 think we'll benefit that the 3 teams we play last all probably won't have anything to play for
