My view:

 

1. Gerrard............who else?

2. Alonso.............passing to die for.

3. Reina..............2 top saves when we were 1-0.

Don't understand why two penalties and a free kick makes Stevie everyones MOTM. Riera was brilliant today. If he'd only play like this every match. Alonsos passing was better than Barrys today.

yeah penalties and free kicks dont count.

Was very good but the attempted pass after the Friedel clearance lost him his place in my top 3...
