Bootle Buck Posted March 16, 2009 Posted March 16, 2009 (edited) Imagine the darling of the media Sir Alex showing his a*** again after a rare defeat. The fecker once again shows his lack of class. If Rafa would have done the same he would have been slated. Classless t*** Edited March 16, 2009 by Bootle Buck
Des Posted March 16, 2009 Posted March 16, 2009 Did he decide to start this boycott before or after his team got absolutely tw atted?
CarraLegend Posted March 16, 2009 Posted March 16, 2009 Classless t*** indeed. An absolute c*** of a person and still a baby at 67 years old. The end for this prick cant come soon enough.
smithdown Posted March 16, 2009 Posted March 16, 2009 Ferguson seemed unsure that it was such a bad performance, even making the startling claim in his MUTV interview that United had been “the better team”. Even United’s official website seemed to balk at that, leaving the comment out of the manager’s postmatch comments. http://www.timesonline.co.uk/tol/sport/foo...icle5914458.ece Ha!
Bigal Posted March 16, 2009 Posted March 16, 2009 I am not that bothered by this, I think the media have had their say and dealt with his comments and his performance as well they should have. Well, I havent seen anything anywhere that agrees with him
Ostrich Man Posted March 16, 2009 Posted March 16, 2009 Did he decide to start this boycott before or after his team got absolutely tw atted?Before...states that quite clearly.
Jim D Posted March 16, 2009 Posted March 16, 2009 Mr Ferguson is cracking up...if Rafa did the same he'd get slaughtered for it by the media and fans alike. We would never hear the end of it for as long as Rafa remained Liverpool's manager.
Bigal Posted March 16, 2009 Posted March 16, 2009 interesting that someone pointed out, did he feel it was so wrong that Spurs played a european game thursday before the cup final and that they only played the tuesday?
Sion Posted March 16, 2009 Posted March 16, 2009 surely with his bestest, deepest squad in the world ever TM, he should have nothing to complain about?
Tones Posted March 16, 2009 Posted March 16, 2009 Why didnt he ask for the game to be moved? I believe he is within his rigths to at last ask the FA/PL to move it??
Chili Palmer Posted March 16, 2009 Posted March 16, 2009 Tbh I have no problem with a manager not coming out to talk to the media straight after a defeat like that, as long as every manager can choose, not just Ferguson.
smithdown Posted March 16, 2009 Posted March 16, 2009 Tbh I have no problem with a manager not coming out to talk to the media straight after a defeat like that, as long as every manager can choose, not just Ferguson. Sky didn't mention it even though they were obviously holding on to see if he'd come out. Loads of times you've seen Keys mugging it up to the camera saying "we're waiting to hear from..." or "getting the feeling he's not keen to come out and talk just yet, what do we make of that then?" looking all smug about it.
Ostrich Man Posted March 16, 2009 Posted March 16, 2009 interesting that someone pointed out, did he feel it was so wrong that Spurs played a european game thursday before the cup final and that they only played the tuesday?surely thats spurs managers job?
Bigal Posted March 16, 2009 Posted March 16, 2009 surely thats spurs managers job? Maybe, or its just a football managers job to get on with it and take the rough with the smooth??
Bigal Posted March 16, 2009 Posted March 16, 2009 (edited) surely thats spurs managers job? stoopid double post Edited March 16, 2009 by Bigal
Ostrich Man Posted March 16, 2009 Posted March 16, 2009 Its a managers job to look after the best interests of the club he manages in whatever manner he chooses. I didnt read you saying Benitez should just take the rough with the smooth when he did his bit about fergie and refs etc nor would I expect you to, he was doing what he felt he had to do for Liverpool.
Redwire Posted March 16, 2009 Posted March 16, 2009 Why didnt he ask for the game to be moved? I believe he is within his rigths to at last ask the FA/PL to move it?? £500,000.

Well, I agree, that maybe that’s he was doing. I think what really annoyed Ferguson was that he wanted Inter buried by half time, and then he could make some changes with Saturday in mind, but they didn’t, and that’s what frustrated, yes we played Tuesday but also we took Gerrard off after 70 mins and torres 80, that must have pissed him off big time. But yeah, I felt Rafa was doing the right thing at the time, he didn’t realise we were about to be f***ing terrible. But this s*** does Ferguson no favours Edited March 16, 2009 by Bigal
Tones Posted March 16, 2009 Posted March 16, 2009 £500,000. Is irght. And i bet he would have been out talking to them straight after the game if they had won instead of having their asses kicked.
Rory Fitzgerald Posted March 16, 2009 Posted March 16, 2009 I'd say it grated on Mourinho that Rafa's team could do that to Utd when his Inter team failed to score in 2 matches against them.

Andy @ Allerton Posted March 16, 2009 Posted March 16, 2009 Can't believe anyone is faintly surprised. He's been a classless gonk forever.

Andy @ Allerton Posted March 17, 2009 Posted March 17, 2009 correction, he's been a drunken, whisky smelling classless gonk , forever. I stand corrected
Des Posted March 17, 2009 Posted March 17, 2009 I'd say that mourinho knew fine rightly that benitez has the better players in his team. I wouldn't say that at all.
