Chili Palmer Posted March 14, 2009 Posted March 14, 2009 is it a dip in form or is this his normal level of performance?
Logic Posted March 14, 2009 Posted March 14, 2009 Didn't he just play a part of a 4-1 demolition of the Mancs at OT?
Chili Palmer Posted March 14, 2009 Author Posted March 14, 2009 Youve got some balls posting anything negative today its not negative in my eyes, just thinking about the game today.
Chili Palmer Posted March 14, 2009 Author Posted March 14, 2009 Didn't he just play a part of a 4-1 demolition of the Mancs at OT? Its only a question!
Rimbeux Posted March 14, 2009 Posted March 14, 2009 He's a reserve, or should be, so it's to be expected. He's got limitations physically and upstairs, but we probably knew that
Puma Posted March 14, 2009 Posted March 14, 2009 I think it's a perfectly valid question, but the timing
RedHarvest Posted March 14, 2009 Posted March 14, 2009 He's been generally good for his first season in the English game, and I thought he played a big part in our early season good form...any criticism of him at this stage is just churlish.

RedHarvest Posted March 14, 2009 Posted March 14, 2009 oops...forgot about Citeh. But earlier this season I remember him being consistently among our better performers, dont think he deserves to be groomed for our next scapegoat now that the Doss is a cult hero

I;m certainly not.
Swipe Posted March 14, 2009 Posted March 14, 2009 Nothing will stop me enjoying this weekend, but Reira's form is a bit worrying and has been for a while. Babel looke lively again when he came on i thought
Snakebite Posted March 14, 2009 Posted March 14, 2009 Got a real kick watching Torres trying to explain to Albert how Doss had scored. From the hand motions it looked like Albert had completely missed it and had to ask what happened.
Mike Posted March 14, 2009 Posted March 14, 2009 just shows we didn't even have to be at our best to hammer them today. they really aren't all that right now. what is a disgrace is the likes of roy hodgson who i used to have a lot of time for not even trying to get anything against them and rolling over. f*****s want a fine for that kind of behaviour. get at them, have some belief, don't believe the hype. we carried riera and to a large extent lucas today and we t****** them 4 1.
McBain Posted March 14, 2009 Posted March 14, 2009 I think it's more his level than just a slump He makes bad decisions too often. But f*** it we just hammered them 4-1 at ot.
kop205 Posted March 14, 2009 Posted March 14, 2009 we carried riera and to a large extent lucas today and we t****** them 4 1. Riera was poor but did we f*** carry Lucas. If Spearing, for example, had come in and played in as he did, then people would be raving about him. He did perfectly ok, didn't hide, offered for the ball, and was certainly not a passenger. He has just been part of our biggets win at that s***hole for about 80 years, and for once deserves people to lay the f*** off him.

Lucas had a good second half i thought. But agree with ur first point. If only more teams had a go at Utd, instead of bending over and taking it from them.

madaboutlfc Posted March 14, 2009 Posted March 14, 2009 i think he is a good player who is struggling with fatigue.. he probably has not played so many intensive games in a season in his life.. it just shows we need either babel to shoulder some of the workload or get a better replacement
floyd the barber Posted March 14, 2009 Posted March 14, 2009 reira started well...hasnt been that good past 4 months.. A decent player.....still believe we need a step up, soneone to go alongside Torres and Gerrard as a real matchwinner.
Igors Uncle Dave Posted March 14, 2009 Posted March 14, 2009 I'm happy with the lad, we have players like Babel who was aweful a month ago and is now a legend by some. Riera was the new messiah two months ago and not is houded. Football will change as players come into and out of forum, Babel and Riera will influence games to come, believe in Rafa as he will select them when he sees the right time
Mike Posted March 14, 2009 Posted March 14, 2009 wingers generally are very in and out - that's always been a truisim.
Earl Hafler Posted March 14, 2009 Posted March 14, 2009 (edited) who's doing that? I;m certainly not. Anything that isn't 100% positive is being negative and criticising the players and calling them c**s. It's not allowed. Discussion is futile. And Riera and Kuyt are squad players being asked to perform to the consistency of Gerrard, Torres, Reina, etc. Riera's been a good buy. Edited March 14, 2009 by Earl Hafler
