Hassony Posted March 12, 2009 Posted March 12, 2009 Have a great feeling about this one, I think we will t*** them 3-0. Torres, Gerrard and Kuyt the goal scorers
Stevie H Posted March 12, 2009 Posted March 12, 2009 i'm f***ing buzzing about this one already. 7.45pm kickoff here so down the pub about 4, get the locals singing.
Rory Fitzgerald Posted March 12, 2009 Posted March 12, 2009 Clicked in looking for the ref Doesnt matter, dont care if we lose 5-0 or draw 0-0, sure Gerrard and Torres will probably be on the bench. Meh
Guy_Incognito Posted March 12, 2009 Posted March 12, 2009 I fecking love the build up to this, hate the opening bits of the actual game, then make a judgment call on my emotions based on how it's going, but with an undercurrent of hatred of the game. At Anfield, even though we were s***ting on them, I still hated the game til the final whistle, cos I figured they'd spawn an equaliser.
Sion Posted March 12, 2009 Posted March 12, 2009 We'll be well up for this, be all over them, then they'll get a amazingly dodgy decision in their favour, win and everyone will remember it as 'that time united gave liverpool a masterclass'
Chili Palmer Posted March 12, 2009 Posted March 12, 2009 We'll be well up for this, be all over them, then they'll get a amazingly dodgy decision in their favour, win and everyone will remember it as 'that time united gave liverpool a masterclass' probably. They have been beating the mediocre teams that has been put in front of them and fair play to them for that, its where we fall down, but they haven't faced any top team in that run since losing to Arsenal. (Bar Chelsea and they were too busy trying to get rid of their manager then), I think we will be a shock to their system.
smithdown Posted March 12, 2009 Posted March 12, 2009 Was certain we'd win the first Murphy game, it just felt right that we'd do them in the run up to that one. Got the same feeling this time only am thinking we'll really feckin shock them.

I was kinda hoping that Ferdinands ankle forced him out as he always plays well against us.
IcelandicFan Posted March 12, 2009 Posted March 12, 2009 Way too much optimism on here now... Let me be the first to say that we will get beaten 2 or 3-0.
ManxRed Posted March 12, 2009 Posted March 12, 2009 We will be by far the better team, and dominate and control the game, but will failt to penetrate their defence, and lose to some sloppy set piece goal. 1-0 to them.
Flight Posted March 12, 2009 Posted March 12, 2009 Was certain we'd win the first Murphy game, it just felt right that we'd do them in the run up to that one. Got the same feeling this time only am thinking we'll really feckin shock them. I've felt the same and said so for a while but scared of mockering it. Just hope we have everyone available and there are no s***ty refs decisions.
Hector McDougal Posted March 12, 2009 Posted March 12, 2009 Flying out to Korea today. I'll be watching it in a bar in Seoul. Given that Park plays for them I expect to be the only person cheering for us. Should be fun.
matty Posted March 12, 2009 Posted March 12, 2009 Horrible game against a horrible club. And Andy Gray in the commentary box. Bring it.........on.
D.Boon Posted March 12, 2009 Posted March 12, 2009 I feel block capitals are required. DON'T LET THE c**** BULLY US AND KICK US ALL OVER THE PARK.
fred milne Posted March 12, 2009 Posted March 12, 2009 We will be by far the better team.We weren't last year. There were rank performances throughout the side, Gerrard in particular being diabolical in the first half. He has a vital role on Saturday. If we assume we are going to line up as we did on Tuesday, then he has to close down Carrick much more quickly than he did last year and when he has the ball he has to use it much less carelessly than he did last year.
Nate. Posted March 12, 2009 Posted March 12, 2009 As per usual when this game pops up I can't see us winning it. After the high of beating Real I can see a flat performance coming up.
Guy_Incognito Posted March 12, 2009 Posted March 12, 2009 Someone needs to take Torres to one side and say to him "You know how much you hate Real Madrid? You hate Man U more".
Andy-oh-six Posted March 12, 2009 Posted March 12, 2009 Way too much optimism on here now... Let me be the first to say that we will get beaten 2 or 3-0. I feel the same. However, it would be typical of us in recent times to do what has let us down in recent years and beat Man United and Chelsea Home and Away but still not win the league!
Chili Palmer Posted March 12, 2009 Posted March 12, 2009 Someone needs to take Torres to one side and say to him "You know how much you hate Real Madrid? You hate Man U more". I love angry Fernando.
