The booing of Lucas.

Unbelievable. These people are not supporters in any sense of the word.

 

So, the team get booed off after going top of the league against West Ham, and now players in a red shirt get booed coming on to the pitch.

The atmosphere at Anfield has been deteriorating continuously for a few years now. I cant point my finger as to why.

Could be a bit of these but there have to be some more reasons. We play even tighter in European games (but get the results) and usually see a cracking atmosphere in those.

I was ashamed these arnt liverpool supporters they are sheep they should all just go baa. I even had somebody by me clapping the chelsea score when I asked him why he said because They have a chance of catching manu. he could not explain why if we have the same points as chelsea and have played the same games we dont have a chance must have been watching sky sports at the weekend as this is their view .

Cisse was applauded when he came on (which I think is a nice gesture and rightly so for his contribution when he played for us) although he is not our player any more

Came across quite clearly on the setanta stream I was watching. Pretty low behavior from some of our fans. Feel sorry for Lucas. Not the greatest player to have played for us but being booed isn't going to help him.

now i was annoyed at Rafa for bringing n`gog off. who after his goal...looked full of confidence and possibly capable of another goal.......so i didnt want lucas to come on especially as it killed the game for me...and made us settle for 2-0..

 

ANYWAY..still with all the above....no Reds player should ever be booed when coming on as a sub or starting...

N'Gog had cramped up and had indicated to the bench that he wasn't comfortable.

Was quite a few near me (kop 103) giving him s*** when rafa called him back from his warm up. Booing was fairly loud & clear when he came on - tossers. He did alright when he came on too which is all credit to him.

 

Noticed a fair few people making a particular point to clap everything he did loudly, glad not everybody has lost the plot!

22 year old who has had a few bad moments, but never seems to lack commitment, never hides in games, and I believe still has the potential to be a very good player. WTF is booing him meant to achieve?

He had one bad pass today. Not many of our CM's can show the same accuracy. Hope those who boo him get a well deserved flogging while in the stands. There's just NO way we should boo our own players.

Absolute disgrace. I would ban every one of them c****. You could here it from my seat in the Upper Cenny, mainly coming from the Anny Road. I think they thought they were being funny. I hate loads of our fans at the moment. Probably Uppsala and his mates

Just loads of negativity round today. Even when we were 2-0 up. Oh and he did fine when he came on. i bet some of our 'fans' are gutted
